"Days Of The Week" as written by Dean Deleo, Scott Richard Weiland, Robert Emile Deleo and Eric Kretz....
Monday, back from the dead
I'm letting it go, back for another one

Tuesday, shoot me in the head
I'm takin' it back , takin' it back
I'll take it back

Wednesday, she's lookin' for a friend
She'll get what she wants
Can't seem to get enough

Thursday, it's more than I can stand
I'm holdin' her down, holdin' her down
She's down again

I gotta find a way to find her
Where could she be?
Four days of the week
She thinks I'm the enemy

One day, left me for dead
Woke up on the floor, time for another one
Two days, she's leavin' me again
Can't take it no more
Out through the open door
Three days, she's found herself a friend
She got what she wants
Still never get enough
Four days she's back with me again
She's pullin' me down, pullin' me down
I'm down again

Monday's gone
Tuesday's fadin'
Wednesday's gone
Thursday's all but wasted now

General CommentI love how the melody for this song is so happy and sweet but the lyrics are dark as hell, even though they have this really jumpy and happy ring to them sonically. It almost makes the song even more fucked up. I think this song is about being depressed, with a shitty girl, or on heroin and watching the days go by, wasted. It's very dark. The sarcastic happiness flowing through the song makes it one of their darkest songs.

General CommentYou know what, I like it... The reason you people dont like it is because you hate change... well they arent a math equation... the solution and output wont always be the same.. by hating this song you are asking them to "manufacture" the music to please the fans. And that, spliphstar, is what would make them like nsync.

General Commenti never said that i didn't like this song.. in fact, i do. i had this song programmed into my alarm clock so that it woke me up every morning for a very long time. the band changing is fine with me. in fact, i'm glad they're changing, it means that they are growing and maturing as people, going through new experiences. good for them. who are we to criticize their lives? they're offering themselves to us for our entertainment, and we gripe about it? uh-uh, not cool

General CommentI wish people could except bands changing a little more openly. But has anyone noticed that bands usually change from harder music to softer? Just my view...probably wrong, buti figured i would mention that. As far as the song goes, its a good song, not my fav, but by no means bad.

General CommentWy arent bands allowed to change? Nearly everyone complains about a band changing. If everyone was the same they were 10 years ago, life would be boring. I admit, this isn't my personal favorite STP song, but it still is good. And I personally like the Tiny Music album, it's one of my favorites.

General Commentwhether anyone likes the song or not doesn't matter, it's what the song's about is why we should be writing, stick w/ the format.
it's about weiland's first feelings towards the outside world once he got out of jail
good song in my opinion, it's not so typical

General Commentit's about drug addiction, and trying to get off of it. Trying to break the addiction that the drug had on you, and how hard it is, and how you may end up falling for that drug again

General Comment...is that what this song means? holy crap he writes about drugs alot. No complaints.

I actually like this song alot so people that say it's the worst should go listen to 'my perrogative' by Britney Spears. That is the worst song of all time.

i love this song so na-na-na boo boo
