"There You'll Be (pearl Harbor Soundtrack)" as written by and Diane Warren....
When I think back on these times
And the dreams we left behind
I'll be glad 'cause I was blessed to get to have you in my life

When I look back on these days
I'll look and see your face
You were right there for me

In my dreams I'll always see you soaring by the sky
In my heart there'll always be a place for you
For all my life
I'll keep a part of you with me
And everywhere I am there you'll be
And everywhere I am there you'll be

Well you showed me how it feels
To feel the sky within my reach
And I always will remember all the strength you gave to me
Your love made me make it through
Oh I owe so much to you
You were right there for me

In my dreams I'll always see you soar above the sky
In my heart there'll always be a place for you
For all my life
I'll keep a part of you with me
And everywhere I am there you'll be

'Cause I always saw in you my light, my strength
And I want to thank you now for all the ways
You were right there for me
(You were right there for me)
You were right there for me
For always

In my dreams I'll always see you soar above the sky
In my heart there'll always be a place for you
For all my life

I'll keep a part of you with me
And everywhere I am there you'll be
And everywhere I am there you'll be
There you'll be

General CommentSomehow I think that this is a song that can refer to anyone that you've lost. It doesn't necessarily have to be a lover, although it could be, I think it could be about a family member or a friend or whatever. Whoever it's about, it is a very touching song that definitely tugs at the heartstrings. It shows that even though the person concerned is gone, they will never be forgotten and they will always be remembered due to the impact they had upon the singer. She's saying that she will always keep a part of them with her and no matter what happens, the fect they're gone doesn't mean their memories or strength will fade. Hill's vocals are outstanding throughout and her tone really compliments the overall emotional value of the song. Simply amazing.

General Commentthe song is great...the movie was awful, it was about too many things ( a love story, pearl harbor, doolittles raid, roosevelt, the japanese) and josh hartnett had a kid with his best friends girl and you never never do that
