Take a souvenir and stop your staring
Just cause I'm screaming
Don't mean I'm sharing
Can't keep my mouth shut
if you keep that dress on
You can't negotiate
Not with me this time

you go so low
your faggot rainbow
your Nazi Halo
won't save you this time

Bring your IQ and try to understand
Just cause I'm listening
Don't mean we're still friends
Can't fix my problem
You crossed a thin line
You can't just work it out
not with me this time

you go so low
your faggot rainbow
your junkie ego
won't save you this time

you go so low
your tragic disco
your Nazi Halo
won't save you this time

You're so predictable no shadow of doubt
when you are suffering know who sold you out
Fuck your opinions
Fuck your lack of spine
When you are miserable
Know that I'm just fine

You go solo
your faggot rainbow
your junkie ego
won't save you this time

you go solo
your tragic disco
your Nazi Halo
won't save you this time

i dont really think this song has much to do with actually nazis or racism or anything like that... i think that a "nazi halo" is something that is both horrible & beautiful at the same time. perhaps it was a person jessicka knew, or was in a relationship with, who had a side of evil, like a nazi, but wore a halo, like an angel. it could also very well be about facists, and society and such, but to me it kind of sounds like its about a two faced person who shows a "nazi halo" quality..

I think it is about an arrogant and generally icky person, like a friend, who you are just fucking fed up with. I can relate, anyway. Then again... it is probobly about something else.

I think this song is about someone who constantly pisses Jessicka off, but in the past she's always made excuses for them and forgiven them for the things they've done. Then she puts her foot down by basically saying "you cant get round me this time, I'm not going to forgive you." And I have an idea for what Nazi Halo means, and how it would fit with the song, but I cant explain it. Damn lol.

It's Jack off Jill. I'm sorry, but I'd bet your over thinking it. I'd lay money it's about breaking up with a lesbian girlfriend thats a skin head. I really dought it's anything more.

I don't know, is an anti-racist song with a deficient title. But the song is AMAZING!

I have read some of the explanation of this song, and it's about tourism. But to me, it's a beautiful anti-people song that I can't get enough of. Jack Off Jill is genius.

I think this song means that if your racist a facist or any of those kinds of prejudice things that being that type of person wont make u a better person and that being racist, facist, ect. wont make your life better from what it is already. And that people like em are just so damn ignorant. claps for JoJ

Overall about difficult moments of disappointment and vulnerability. Having hope and longing, while remaining optimistic for the future. Encourages the belief that with each new morning there is a chance for things to improve. The chorus offers a glimmer of optimism and a chance at a resolution and redemption in the future. Captures the rollercoaster of emotions of feeling lost while loving someone who is not there for you, feeling let down and abandoned while waiting for a lover. Lost with no direction, "Now I'm up in the air with the rain in my hair, Nowhere to go, I can go anywhere" The bridge shows signs of longing and a plea for companionship. The Lyrics express a desire for authentic connection and the importance of Loving someone just as they are. "Just in passing, I'm not asking. That you be anyone but you”

Mountain Song
Jane's Addiction
Jane's Addiction vocalist Perry Farrell gives Adam Reader some heartfelt insight into Jane’s Addiction's hard rock manifesto "Mountain Song", which was the second single from their revolutionary album Nothing's Shocking. Mountain song was first recorded in 1986 and appeared on the soundtrack to the film Dudes starring Jon Cryer. The version on Nothing's Shocking was re-recorded in 1988. "'Mountain Song' was actually about... I hate to say it but... drugs. Climbing this mountain and getting as high as you can, and then coming down that mountain," reveals Farrell. "What it feels to descend from the mountain top... not easy at all. The ascension is tough but exhilarating. Getting down is... it's a real bummer. Drugs is not for everybody obviously. For me, I wanted to experience the heights, and the lows come along with it." "There's a part - 'Cash in now honey, cash in Miss Smith.' Miss Smith is my Mother; our last name was Smith. Cashing in when she cashed in her life. So... she decided that, to her... at that time, she was desperate. Life wasn't worth it for her, that was her opinion. Some people think, never take your life, and some people find that their life isn't worth living. She was in love with my Dad, and my Dad was not faithful to her, and it broke her heart. She was very desperate and she did something that I know she regrets."

There aren’t many things that’ll hurt more than giving love a chance against your better judgement only to have your heart crushed yet again. Ed Sheeran tells such a story on “Page.” On this track, he is devastated to have lost his lover and even more saddened by the feeling that he may never move on from this.
