"Age Of Aquarius/Let The Sunshine In" as written by and Sharon J. Den Adel Robert Westerholt....
When the moon is in the Seventh House
And Jupiter aligns with Mars
Then peace will guide the planets
And love will steer the stars
This is the dawning of the age of Aquarius
Age of Aquarius
Aquarius
Aquarius

Harmony and understanding
Sympathy and trust abounding
No more falsehoods or derisions
Golden living dreams of visions
Mystic crystal revelation
And the mind's true liberation
Aquarius
Aquarius

When the moon is in the Seventh House
And Jupiter aligns with Mars
Then peace will guide the planets
And love will steer the stars
This is the dawning of the age of Aquarius
Age of Aquarius
Aquarius
Aquarius
Aquarius
Aquarius

Let the sunshine, let the sunshine in, the sunshine in
Let the sunshine, let the sunshine in, the sunshine in
Let the sunshine, let the sunshine in, the sunshine in

Oh, let it shine, c'mon
Now everybody just sing along
Let the sun shine in
Open up your heart and let it shine on in
When you are lonely, let it shine on
Got to open up your heart and let it shine on in
And when you feel like you've been mistreated
And your friends turn away
Just open your heart, and shine it on in

General CommentIf I remember correctly, the Age of Aquarius actually begins in 2012, not 2000. Right now we're in the age of Pisces.

General CommentFrom the musical "Hair", in which freedom and peace is said to be ushered in with the Age of Aquarius. It is an astrological age that will begin sometime between 2150 and 2595 depending on who you listen to. The New Age movement in the 1960s believed the time to be at the cusp of the Age of Pisces, hence the "dawning of the Age of Aquarius". The dawning would involve radical change as some in the 60s attempted. The promise of rapid technological and sociological advancement was consistent with the idea of peace and brotherhood.

Contrast with Zager and Evans' "In the year 2525", in which dire predictions are made instead.

General CommentI don't understand the expression "dreams of visions", maybe the writer is referring to esoteric dreams because you don't have "dreams of visions", you either have one or the other.

Secondly, I don't know if the term "mystic crystal revelation" has any connection to the use of the crystal ball and to witchcraft: I certainly hope not. Apart from this the song is a great one in my view.

The references to the moon being in the seventh zone and Jupiter lining up with Mars are not astrological references in my view since, even as commentators have noted, the first of these things occurs daily, the other several times a year.

In my view this is a reference to ancient history after the flood where the ignoble ancestor, Tammuz, was referred to as the 'moon god'. His father and his brother were the rulers Jupiter (Anu) and Mars (Enlil) respectively.

The seventh house is not a reference to the seventh constellation of the zodiac, in my view, but to the house of condemned prisoners in the netherworld which comprised seven chambers separated by seven gates: the underworld into which Ishtar, the wife of the "moon god", descended leading to her, and subsequently to her husband's, confinement there.

The song is therefore saying that when Tammuz is in prison and the rulers Anu and Enlil are in agreement then the ordinary people (planets) will find peace and the princes (stars) will be filled with love.

This song sounds to me like a beautiful rendition of historical events that actually took place in the Middle East around 2200 BC at the dawn of this present civilization.

My InterpretationThe song is deeply Luciferian, or more approprately, Osirian and drenched in the symbolism of the Mystery Schools. This song has deep, deep meaning for those who have ears to hear or eyes to read. Stick with me.

Approximately 4,000 years ago, Moses smashed the golden calf (Apis) and symbolically ushered in the Age of Aries (previously the age of Taurus), and the worship of this Age is heavily symbolized by the ram/lamb, shepherding, and sacrifice.

Christianity entered the scene at the beginning of the Pisces Age 2,000 years ago and the symbol for Pisces is the fish, as well as for Christianity. The Age of Pisces could be called the “Age of Deception”. Some of the keywords symbolizing Pisces are: deception, illusion, hidden, misled, confusion, fraudulent schemes, fantasy world, secrets, false, fake, mysteries, drugs/alcohol and on the positive side, kind, intuitive, and gentle. It rules the arts and humanities. If you really look at the world you live in at the present time you will see the signs of Pisces everywhere and in every aspect of your life.

This song is celebrating the end of the Age of Pisces and the dawning of the new Age - the Age of Aquarius.

The symbol for Aquarius is the Water Bearer, but in reality it is not water, but knowledge that is being poured into the well for all to partake of regardless of race or religion. We can already see some of the signs of the Age of Aquarius. The rapid rise of technology, education, medicine, and tolerance speak to the dawning of this new age.

But Aquarius, the bringer of knowledge is also associated with Osiris, the sun god and his more modern foil Lucifer, the bringer of Light and knowledge.

Recall Lucifer is also first introduced as a serpent who encourages man to take from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, to which Man does and, and his "eyes were opened" and he was to become like god. Lucifer bears striking resemblance to Osiris, the god of the Sun, also associated with knowledge and creative power.

With that background, look again at the lyrics:

No more falsehoods or derisions - this is how you know they are celebrating the end of Pisces and that they subscribe to the idea that Pisces represents falsehoods and an age of lies led by the worship of Christ

Golden living dreams of visions - golden living through technological, medical, and intellectual development, manifesting the visions passed to the Mystery Schools and repeatedly shown in their symbolism.

And the minds true liberation - again harking to the concept of the age of knowledge and liberation from falsehoods.

This is a celebration of a new age, represented by Aquarius, an age of knowledge. If we are to follow in the same footsteps as our ancestors, the god of this age will be Osiris or Lucifer.

Don't believe me? How does the song end?

General CommentMy how the Xtians try to bend and meld anything to fit their narrow ideas and short history! There were celestial Age's long before the inception of the Judeo Christian religions (Judaism, Islam, AND Christianity) The Celt's, the Roman's and the Ancient Greek's all knew of the celestial ages! (Wow! Without any "Moses" or Jesus" or any "one god" ideas!) Better grab your Holy fairy tales and hold on tight cause the next Age of Aquarius begins on January 17th at 14:20 EST (11:20 PST) 2018. And on an American Election year! Worry, worry! BTW, Aries is after Pisces not Aquarius silly fools. Xtians are always trying to "find jesus" in every pop culture song, try sticking to your hymnals. Oh yeah, they're old and boring and can't catch the attention of the youth, they are written to hold tight to the church's very narrow and constricted ideas, no intelligent truth seeking honestly educated youth would ever be interested. INDOCTRINATE early and reinforce often to hold onto the church's beliefs, a free mind could discover science and question you out of existence! Hail the coming dawn of the Age of Aquarius and the opening of minds!
