"Give In" as written by Ken Block, Jeff Beres, Andrew Copeland, Ryan Carter Newell, Mark E. Trojanowski, Paul Ebersold and William Marvin Smith....
It's wrong, not right so bad you know it.
I've been wrung in and out.
You say, you want, you need, it your way.
You kick and scream and shout.

You twist my words
To ease your mind
Don't stand there smiling, at me
Don't think it's me
When it's always you, it's always you

Give in, give out, give up, it's over.
Why even bother if I'm always wrong.
Give in, give out, give up, it's over.
So much for trying it's time to move on.

You try, to back, me in, a corner.
So sick of playin' your game.
Too much, too hard, to take, You're giving.
So much that I don't need.

You twist my words
To ease your mind
Don't stand there smiling, at me
Don't think it's me
When it's always you, it's always you

Give in, give out, give up, it's over.
Why even bother if I'm always wrong.
Give in, give out, give up, it's over.
So much for trying it's time to move on.

Your mind, my heart, our words, they drain me.
I've heard the same old lines
I'm tired, worn out, so weak, don't push me.
Don't try it one more time.

Give in, give out, give up, it's over.
Why even bother if I'm always wrong.
Give in, give out, give up, it's over.
So much for trying it's time to move on.

Give in, give out, give up, it's over.
Why even bother if I'm always wrong.
Give in, give out, give up, it's over.
So much for trying it's time to move on.

General CommentObviously this song is just about someone fighting with their significant other. Even though he's saying 'get out,' I don't think he's sincere. I think even he knows that in a few hours/days things will be back to their normal, screwed-up selves....but that could be just me injecting my life into the song..!

One of my favorite Sister Hazel songs ever.

    General CommentIt's probably...
Just giving up-- being tired of having his words twisted and manipulated, tired of being told he's wrong. Sort of those situations where you give up and say that the other person is right just because you're sick of them instead of actually agreeing.

    Pretty straightforward.

General CommentI'm amazed Sister Hazel doesn't have many comments on any songs. They have Amazing songs. I went through this situation, and i wish i remembered this song as it was happening. It fit it perfectly, but now i broke up with her, so it doesnt fit me anymore. Like SpikyKitsune said, it is pertty straight-foreward.
