"Jenny (867-5309)" as written by Brandon Flowers, Dave Brent Keuning, Mark August Stoermer and Ronnie Jr. Vannucci....
Jenny jenny who can I turn to
You give me something I can hold on to
I know you'll think I'm like the others before
Who saw your name and number on the wall

Jenny I've got your number
I need to make you mine
Jenny don't change your number

Eight six seven five three oh nine
Eight six seven five three oh nine
Eight six seven five three oh nine
Eight six seven five three oh nine
Jenny, Jenny you're the girl for me
You don't know me but you make me so happy
I tried to call you before but I lost my nerve
I tried my imagination but I was disturbed

Jenny I've got your number
I need to make you mine
Jenny don't change your number
Eight six seven five three oh nine
Eight six seven five three oh nine
Eight six seven five three oh nine
Eight six seven five three oh nine

I got it (I got it) I got it
I got your number on the wall
I got it (I got it) I got it
For a good time, for a good time call

Jenny don't change your number
I need to make you mine
Jenny I've called your number

Eight six seven five three oh nine
Eight six seven five three oh nine
Eight six seven five three oh nine
Eight six seven five three oh nine

Jenny Jenny who can I turn to (eight six seven five three oh nine)
For the price of a dime I can always turn to you (eight six seven five three oh nine)

Eight six seven five three oh nine
Eight six seven five three oh nine
Eight six seven five three oh nine
Eight six seven five three oh nine (five three oh nine)
Eight six seven five three oh nine
Eight six seven five three oh nine (five three oh nine)
Eight six seven five three oh nine (five three oh nine)

General CommentI'm in love with a Jenny so I like the Less Than Jake version of this a lot. I don't know where I stand with her, are we even friends?! She is so beautiful, and I hate it when she ignores me. Yup, love is really confusing.

General CommentI think this song is hilarious. Some guy finds a girl's phone number written on the wall saying "For a good time call 867-5309" and is convinced that she's his soulmate. It's great.

General CommentI read that it was partly because of this song that movies and TV had to start using numbers that began with "555" instead of actual ones.

Too many areas had tons of people calling the actual number (their area code) 867-5309 and asking for "Jenny", which is really stupid but it was done.

Now, I believe that in order to use someone's real phone number on-screen, you must have their permission.
