"Hurt So Good" as written by Oliver Green and Valentina Barnes....
When I was a young boy,
Said put away those young boy ways
Now that I'm getting' older so much older
I long all those young boy days
With a girl like you
With a girl like you
Lord knows there are things we can do, baby
Just me and you
Come on and make it a

Hurt so good
Come on baby make it hurt so good
Sometimes love don't feel like it should
You make it hurt so good

You don't have to be so exciting
Just trying to give myself a little bit of fun, yeah
You always look so inviting
You ain't as green as you are young
Hey baby it's you
Come on girl now it's you
Sink your teeth right through my bones, baby
Let's see what we can do
Come on and make it a

Hurt so good
Come on baby make it hurt so good
Sometimes love don't feel like it should
You make it hurt so good

I ain't talking no big deals
I ain't made no plans myself
I ain't talking no high heels
Maybe we could walking around, all day long,
Walking around, all day long

Hurt so good
Come on baby make it hurt so good
Sometimes love don't feel like it should
You make it hurt so good
Hurt so good
Come on baby make it hurt so good
Sometimes love don't feel like it should
You make it hurt so good

Hey, hey

General Commentlol..i can see where you're comin up with that meaning, but i think the real meaning is an aging boy wanting to move his relationship with his girl forward

General CommentI think that this song is about moving a friendship into a relatonship. He doesn't care if he gets hurt because it's her and as long as he's with her, it doesn't matter.

I have pretty much the same feelings for someone.

General CommentI think its just about sex period!!! He reflects on a time when he was younger and wilder and making it with girls. And there is this HOT girl. But I cant figure out if the girl is a new chick ("you aint as green as you are young") or a familiar girl he used to be with ("hey baby it's you") like he knows how she is. "sink your teeth right through my bones..." i think is oral sex. but i dont think its about a relationship really cuz he says at the end "i aint talking no big deals...I aint made no plans myself" meaning 'we're just having fun!!!

General CommentFor me, this song is about a man reminiscing about old times with his girl. The relationship is old, but still full of love and he's looking to liven it up again; and get back to that exciting time in his life that he fondly recalls. New relationships amongst young people are often full of hurt and pain...lots of fighting. I think that when he looks back on that time in his life, he longs for it again.

General Commenthe came up with the chorus in the shower, he wrote it on the shower door with soap, then got out, wrote it down on paper, then called his manager to tell him about it... just a little fact about the song

General CommentWhen I first heard this song, the part about "sink your teeth into my bones" made me think of S & M. I could just imagine the guy hauling out whips and chains with his girl. Mr. Mellencamp is into bondage, is he not? Though the anal sex comments were funny, too. This is just a great song and it brings back so many memories because it was a favorite of my high school friends. One used to joke with me and say to me, "You know how to make it hurt so good." I'm definitely gonna add this one in once I make a sextrack (soundtrack of sexy songs).

General CommentIt's not about kinky sex, you sickos.

It's how when you're a teenager & you're all messed up & unhappy & getting with a girl is good even though there is the hurt when you realise it was just a one-nighter or you know that eventually you will break up.

Feels so good to hurt so bad” as Elton John said in “Sad Songs”
