Yo toda via espero un milagro,
Yo toda via te espero a ti.
The sunlight is fading,
the longest shadows have been cast.
Like songs from a siren,

hurricanes from the past.
And I am a failure,
defeated every time,
so let me lie here,
a sidewalk for a shrine.

Chorus:
I am so lonely,
they say you were lonely too.
Dear God be my savior,
I wait for you.

My broken spirit,
is trembling slow.
Park bench for a throne now,
my blanket is the snow.
And I'm being haunted,
by long forgotten dreams,
for hurricanes have,
the bluest eyes I've ever seen.

I am pining for your mercy,
for this storm to break,
Lord you are my comfort,
the hope for which I wait.

General CommentI love this song. Not only does i make me want to dance, but I think its about how Reese's fiancee broke off the engagement. He loved her, and now he was so lonely "And I'm being haunted, by long forgotten dreams, for hurricanes have, the bluest eyes I've ever seen.. " He seems so lonely and numb but turns to Christ, because "they say, You were lonely too." and that God can comfort him because, well, Christ went through it too. It's such a beautiful song to me, so well done, and it hit me hard because I loved this guy, and it could never be. *I change the "bluest eyes" to "darkest eyes" and yeah, it hit hard when I first heard it.* I wish I could dance to dance to this song.

General CommentI assume the first line is Spanish. Google translates as "I hope all via a miracle, I hope you all through you."

Can anybody do better than that?

General Commenti asked both a spanish teacher and my grandparents and they said the first lines in spanish mean, "I always expect a miracle, I always wait for you."

General CommentIt says "I'm still waiting for a miracle. I'm still waiting for a miracle"
And it is definitely about his fiancee
