Freezing image, strobe of light, my head falls to the ground
Fighting with myself in search for life
Greedy fingers point at me, I'm on my own again
No one inside, no one to blame

Petrified with blasphemy so evil will occur
And try to penetrate my soul
Systonic structure is storing information in my mind
Through eyes and ears I reach my goal

Malfunction synthesystem is our destiny
We're psyched and trained to win the war
The reason is that we obey what you oppose
I listen to my conscience don't ask why

Step inside now, watch me fall
And watch me float
Cuz we are changing structures
So kill the light, and watch me glow

Freezing image, strobing light, my head falls to the ground
Fighting with myself in search for life
Greedy fingers point at me, I'm on my own again
No one inside, am I insane?

Step inside now, watch me fall
And watch me float
Cuz we are changing structures
So kill the light, and watch me glow

General CommentA hymn to all those in the modern decadent world who are able to rebel,to arise and wage war even alone against all...Even for me,a National Socialist and a Black Metal one, this song is close...14/88!

General CommentIt seems to me to be about doing what you think is right ("I listen to my conscience don't ask why"), no matter what everyone else might think of it ("Greedy fingers point at me, I'm on my own again").

A decent song, but hardly APB's best.

General Comment14/88?!?! Man, I don't know if you know, but Stephan Groth, the main former of Apoptygma Berzerk, refused to join the army, because of his PACIFIST IDEOLOGY! Something here not fits in your interpretation :)
For me one of the mostly mystery lyrics of APOP. It can be in simply way, about someone who can't deal with growing up and joining modern, decadence world.
