Buildings will replace the trees
Pollution will replace the air we breathe
I'm close to the mountain, 15 miles away
But I can't see the hills from here today

We can't just let it pass us by
And as I look into the sky
Something in the atmosphere
Is telling me won't be here for long

Take a picture of this place
Cause extinction is not so far away
Our skin will fry like a steak well done
When there's nothing between us and the sun

Until it's gone, until it's gone, until it's gone
We'll never miss it until it's gone

All the efforts seem to fail
With cars and cans of aerosol
I feel so guilty, then my pride will die
when I see the grey, self-created sky

Until we find a better way
We'll have to learn from all our big mistakes
Something in the atmosphere
Is telling me it won't be here for long

Seems like a letter that we cannot send
Fells like aluminum we cannot bend
Tastes like a mixture that we cannot blend
But we must change the course,
Of the recipe to the end

General CommentThis is the first No Use song I heard. It was over 10 years ago and it was the soundtrack to a snowboard video I had and from then on I was hooked on this music. Too bad No Use went soft, they were sooooo good on this album. If you liked this song, check out Feeding the Fire... Another great song from Nufan. BTW, I was there at the warped tour back in '98 and Tony and Matt came up to me in the crowd (probably noticed the NUFAN shirt I had bought that day and was wearing) and said "hey dude, help us get up to the front of the crowd to see Ozzy.. " (I guess I looked tall to them?) Unfortunately I was with a group and looking for a friend and the time and did not want to let my friends down by getting lost too... I still regret this decision to this day!!!!!!! If you ever have the chance to hang out with a band you love I suggest you do it without thinking twice or you will regret it the rest of you life!!!!!!!!!!!
