Got to get you into my life, into my life
Got to get you into my life, into my life
Got to get you into my life, into my life
Got to get you into my life, into my life
Got to get you into my life, into my life

I was alone, I took a ride
I didn't know what I would find there.
Another road where maybe
I could see another sign there.
Ooh, then I suddenly see you.
Ooh, and did I tell you I need you
Ev'ry single day of my life?

You didn't run, you didn't lie
You know I want to hold you.
And had you gone you knew in time
We'd meet again for I had told you.
Ooh, you were meant to be near me.
Ooh, I really want for you to hear me
Say we'll be together ev'ry day.

Got to get you into my life.
Got to get you in, got to get you into my life
Got to get you into my life
Got to get you into my life

Ooh, then I suddenly see you.
Ooh, and did I tell you that I need you
Ev'ry single day of my life?

Got to get you into my life.
Got to get you in, got to get you into my life
Got to get you into my life
Got to get you into my life

Got to get you in, got to get you in
Got to get you in, got to get you in
Into my life
Got to get you into my life

General CommentI think this song is just an expression of youthful infatuation and the general funness of being young with no strings attatched. Well, that is unless you happened to be unfortunate enough to sing it in show choir, in which case you just end up thinking of sparkly dresses and big hair.

General CommentI agree, I think it's just about being young, happy, and in love. We just got it in one of the jazz bands I'm in at school, and the bass part is a killer for me to play...my director was telling me to watch this video of Earth, Wind, and Fire's bassist and how animated he is and that I should play it like it's a solo, and I just sat there and laughed because I'm more or less the shyest kid in the ensemble, and I'm definately not a showboat kind of bassist. But now I really want to see film of this band performing live!

General CommentThis is a great cover of the Beatles tune. I read a Paul McCartney biography and he said he wrote the song after smoking weed for the first time and how he wanted to smoke it all the time.
