I need a day to rest, to push it all away
To push you away
I need a day to rest, to push it all away
To push you away
Timing, as everything, is unexpected
I can’t do anything right, I can’t do anything wrong
Pain peeks out of the dark so you’re not alone
I need to rest
I need to rest
I need to rest
I need to rest
I need to rest alone, alone, alone
I need... alone, alone, alone
I need... alone

General Commentok... this is like a rare unreleased song which i found on KaZaA... it's studio recorded with Dan on vocals (probably after (Self-Titled) but before he left for the first time and Corey came)... it's the same exact music (with slight differences of course) as 'The Icarus Complex' on SolidState Vol.3, but with different lyrics, and obviously, Dan on vocals instead of Corey... i recomend this song because it is really cool, and, unfortunately, most people don't hear it... these lyrics are, in that case, totally unofficial, and are only what i heard after studyibng the song... if you listen to it and have any corrections/suggestions, please go ahead and tell me...

General Commentalso, the only two places i have real doubts about lyrically are in line 5, which could possibly be:
    "Timing is every...everything is unexpected"
and line 7, which could possibly be:
"Pain peeks out of the door so you're not alone"
those are the only two real doubts i have... tata!

General CommentIt's like this. Sometime during the recording of Liberate te ex Inferis or shortly afterwords, they recorded a track called "Crimson Kroll" that was to be on a compilation album. The comp got delayed, and word was it was scrapped. Anyways, fastforward to when Corey is in the band. They recorded three tracks with him, one of the being "The Icarus Complex", which turns out to be the same song, although a few slight differences. Now, the compilation is indeed out, after a major delay, and the *original* recording with Dan on the vocals is on that compilation, and its called "Sancho." Fore more info on the compilation, visit Backroad Records.

General CommentI have it!!! Line five is:
"Timing is never right, everything is unexpected..."
And on line seven I think it's written correctly as "Pain peeks out of the dark" because when listening to it, I really think I can hear that K on the end. And I hear more of an 'are' sound then an 'ore' sound. But that part is pretty hard to tell... Just my opinion :-)

General CommentI know it! Line five is:
"Timing is never right, everything is unexpected..."
Listen to it, I'm very sure about that one..and line seven, I think it's right as "Pain peeks out of the dark.." because I pretty sure I hear a K sound at the end, and it sounds more like an "are" sound (as in dark) then an "ore" sound (as in door)...But it's pretty hard to tell at line seven..This is just my opinion :-)
