"Open Invitation" as written by Carlos Santana, Greg Walker, Dennis Lambert, Brian Potter and David Margen....
You be you and let me be me
No strings attached emotionally
I want to get a little crazy
That's puttin' it plain
You got the medicine and I got the pain

When you just want to feel good
Like the doctor said
One good dose of loving
It's gonna straighten out your head

You got an open invitation
On that you can rely
You got a prepaid reservation
And that's the only way to fly

Let's make love, the feeling is right
Just passing by like ships in the night
Oughta get a little friendly
There's no time like now
You bring the attitude and I'll show you how

Anytime you're ready
Anytime at all
Just come on over
Don't even have to call

You got an open invitation
On that you can rely
You got a prepaid reservation
And that's the only way to fly

When you just want to feel good
Like the doctor said
One good dose of loving
It's gonna straighten out your head

You got an open invitation
On that you can rely
You got a prepaid reservation
And that's the only way to fly

General CommentI kinda dig some Santana songs, but I love this one. Don't know why, it just rocks.

It's obviously about sex. Mindless, unattached sex.

You be you and let me be me
    No strings attached emotionally
I wanna get a little crazy
    That's puttin' it plain
You got the medicine and I got the pain

He's basically saying "hey, let's do it, just to have some fun and relieve some stress". He puts it pretty bluntly too. That's one of the reasons I like this song so much. It's just so blunt.

General CommentA Really good song. But I hate the sentiment. I am a woman, obviously. No matter how much we THINK we would LIKE unemotional, unattached sex, few of us can handle it. I think it's mostly b/c we know you would tell all your friends!
