"Almost There, Going Nowhere" as written by and Watts/gryskiewicz/golla/vasoli....
Its time to say a word
Say it like you mean it
He spoke with his song of hearts
As my eyes hold back
Hoping for the end
One too many condescending battles for a friend

Say another word
And I'll sit on the floor
Keep talking down to me
Your not only losing me
Your losing what's in store

I'll try to stay awake
When I go
When I get home
I'll try to stay awake
Over the phone
So I can tell the truth
Tell the truth

Something keeps on getting in the way
Between you and I on summer holiday yeah
Just wait one minute more
'Cause my heart is halfway torn and your already gone
And your already gone

I'll try to stay awake (so I can tell you)
When I go
When I get home
I'll try to stay awake (so I can tell you)
Over the phone
So I can tell the truth

Say another word
Face first on the floor
Keep talking down to me
Losing what was almost meant to be

I'll try to stay awake (so I can tell you)
When I go
When I get home
I'll try to stay awake (so I can tell you)
Over the phone
So I can tell the truth

General CommentThat's pretty lame. Good song, but I think these bands should start getting a broader scope of life, than girlfriends.

(I bet that pissed you EMO KIDS off)

General Commenthmm, whats wrong with a band like this to only produce songs whose lyrics are about girls??? Just cause they only write about girls doesnt mean that thats all they are all about....and anyways, you probably havent heard any other songs by these guys....cause theyre not all about girls, try given the chance or gregs last day.....so anyway, don't diss a band like that by saying that they need to get a "broader scope of life" till you are sure that they are what you think they are....and even then, theres nothing wrong with a relationship being someones everything....

General CommentSaying that they should sing about something other than girlfriends is like me saying "those stupid punk bands should sing about something other than anarchy."

General CommentThis song is totally one of my all time favorites off of the CD that came out yesterday! But when I downloaded it on KaZaA the title was Decisions, Decisions. O well! This song just totally rocks! The Starting Line is just a gr8 band and I love them to death and I always will! Ken writes killer lyrics and the band always has gr8 instrumentals. I think that Ken's voice totally rocks with the instrumental in this song! Gosh! I just love Starting Line so much! They are totally one of my all time favorite bands! HeHe! Luv em!
