I had meaning
But you took that away

I had reason
But that was yesterday

I had feelings
That were unfashionable

'Wouldn't hurt you
If I was rational

This is not me in control
All fucked up and no-where to go
Counter-culture kills your soul
All fucked up and no-where to go...

This is not me in control
All fucked up and no-where to go
Counter-culture kills your soul
All fucked up and no-where to go...

you're so pretty
you taste like cyanide

I'm disgraceful
I look like suicide

Drag a name up from my past
Push my face into the glass
Watch our futures turn to ash
You know we weren't built to last

This is not me in control
All fucked up and no-where to go
Counter-culture kills your soul
All fucked up and no-where to go...

This is not me in control
All fucked up and no-where to go
Counter-culture kills your soul
All fucked up and no-where to go...

General CommentOkay, I'm not too sure about the meaning, but, I think that he is saying that he has no control over anything he does in his life because someone took it away from him and after that he just stopped caring about everything.

He feels ugly, worthless, and like people "weren't built to last".

I don't know, that's just my guess, but, either way - it's one hell of a good song. And, Grosse Pointe Blank was one fucking awsome movie (heheheh).

    DeathBoy - YOU'RE FUCKING AWSOME!
