"Awkward" as written by and Michael Richard/watkins Lewis....
Yes I feel your words but I do not hear them
Don't you think its strange that time will not support my truth
Why not,

Answer

Yes I thought of you it all comes too easily
How come I don't see the world like you have I got my
Eyes closed, I don't think so

And now I save the world and its all I can believe
Smiles stand still on your face,
Not too late for me
Here I stand, I laugh when I see the world you're in
Smiles stand still on your face
But its not too late for me

Now it's gone, can we start again, start anew
Will it follow us back down
Can it go through life without a frown, oh no

And now I save the world and its all I can believe
Smiles stand still on your face
But its not too late for me
Here I stand and I laugh when I see the world you're in
Smiles stand still on your face,
But its not too, but its not too late for me

[Repeat: x3]
(It's not too late for m)

General CommentI don't really know what this song means, and I don't care, but the guitar inbetween verses and chorus and drums at the beginning always do the trick to make me go through the f***in roof.

General CommentI'm listening to the CD for the first time right now (I know, I know, I should've got the CD two years ago), and this song is my new favorite. The beginning and the guitar is so fucking cool.

General CommentTo me this song sounds like a situation I'm in with a past relationship, I feel depressed and want them back all the time, and see the world as dull or unhappy without. While the other has done the opposite happy and lots of friends dating etc. and enjoys life, it just makes me think of that a lot and he says it's not too late for him, maybe to get out of his moping and live his life in happiness. Might be different but to me that's what it sounds like I can relate to it if it is like that.

General CommentA personal favourite from The Fake Sound Of Progress, not the best, but a personal favourite. I love how the feel of it to start with is jaggedy and doesn't really flow. It's a cool sound, but then it gets the middle bit and "And now I've seen the world and it's all I can believe" the guitars run on, and sounds like it flows, contrasts really well, sound brilliant. Then it goes jaggedy for another verse and finishes flowing. Brilliantly written, use of contrasting sections is great
