The air is thick and mean
And I am soaking wet
I swear to god I'm full of holes
I can't find an overhang
And I can't find a face
The puddles keep seeping through my soles

Remember what you said
If ever I should need a friend it's you
Well a friend indeed is exactly what I need
That and some shoe goo

I remember all those rainy nights
We ran hand in hand
Splashing around 'til nearly dawn
I know why you went away
And I know you're coming back
It's so hard to appreciate it while you're gone

The street is filled with losers
The sky is full of clouds
And I am full of crap if I think I can take this town
No sense of direction
No black or white
I'm running stupid into the night

    General CommentAll-time favorite Weston song.

That opening guitar riff, the chug-chug rhythm guitars, and then the awesome lyrics.

Seems to be about a break-up (typical Weston), and he seems stuck in the rain and reminiscing about being in the rain with his girl. She said she'd be there for him as a friend after they broke up, but she's nowhere to be found.
