"Home To Stay" as written by Amy Foster-skylark and Jeremy Lubbock....
I know you're gone
I watched you leave
I always thought
That it was me
You made it clear
With that last kiss
You couldn't live a life
With maybe's and what-if's

When every boat
Has sailed away
And every path
Is marked and paved
When every road
Has had its say
Then I'll be bringing you back
Home to stay

I have the cards you sent to me
You wrote of trains and Paris galleries
This spring you'll draw
Canals, and frescoed walls
Look how far your dreaming's gone

When every town looks just the same
When every choice gets hard to make
When every map is put away
Then I'll be bringing you back
Home to stay

And now I know why you had to go alone
Isn't there a place between

When every boat
Has sailed away
And every path
Is marked and paved

When every road
Has had its say
Then I'll be bringing you back
Home to stay

Reach out to me
Call out my name
And I would bring you back again
Today

General CommentIf you truly love someone, set them free, and if they love you, they'll come back to you...

General CommentI love this song..everytime i hear it i can't help but sing along. It holds so much meaning within its seemingly simple words... Allowing his love to leave but loving them enough to wait for them to come home. <3

General Comment"Look how far your dreaming has gone" means he's let her go to do what she wants..it sounds like a painter or something. And he's left behind, still loving her, while she's in another world telling him of a new world with "Trains and Paris galleries" like back over a hundred years (postcards) it sounds. Also about the roads..as in the country is still developing and his area is still young and quiet while she's in a big city. So amazing.

General CommentLove the imagery Josh creates with his voice and tones. 'This spring you'll draw, canals and frescoed walls'. You can just imagine thinking of your dream girl sitting whistfully on a grassy bank in Europe on a sunny day with a sketchpad...

    He's amazing
