i woke up at ten this mornin', the same clothes i had on stage..it must have been one million degrees inside the buster stinking from a million mile tour. forgot where the guys slept last night, my hair smelled like smoke and beer. the nice lady on the street asked "are you a band... or just avoiding the impending hand of doom?" drop your hands and kicks those words away. what you're gonna do really matters....just not toady. don't obey what the fake ones all obey. does anyone really want a real one anyway?

I don't know the rest of the words, but from what I understand about the song, it's about being on the road and the little things they face. But, I don't think you needed me to point that out. 'Tis a good song!

After making use of some isolating software I managed to get a pretty shoddy extraction of the vocal portion. Between what is already here and what I could hear, this is what I got:

I woke up at 10 this morning Same clothes I had on stage Must have been 1 million degrees inside the bus Stinking from our million mile tour

Forgot where the guys slept last night My hair smelt like smoke and beer A nice lady on the street asked "Are you in a band Or just avoiding the approaching hand of doom?"

Drop your hands and kick those words away What you’re gonna do is really gonna matter, just not today Don’t obey what the fake ones all obey Does anybody want a real one anyway Does anybody want a real one anyway

He pressed a button and it set up Then he lost control For thirteen years he chased it blindly ‘Cause he had no control But if anybody gets it better than he knows It’s (unknown) to create one of those

No matter how far it’s always A Question of us and them When you forget who they are Usually you can tell I guess it never really mattered anyway

So this is where I get off and I’ll see you in one month soon I’ll give my regards and love to someone like this
I guess it never really mattered anyway

Drop your hands and kick those words away What you’re gonna do is really gonna matter, just not today Don’t obey what the fake ones all obey Does anybody want a real one anyway Does anybody want a real one anyway

He pressed a button and it set up Then he lost control For thirteen years he chased it blindly ‘Cause he had no control But if anybody gets it better than he knows It’s (unknown) to create one of those

I know that I probably got some of the words wrong, but this is the best I could do with what I got.

The Night We Met
Lord Huron
This is a hauntingly beautiful song about introspection, specifically about looking back at a relationship that started bad and ended so poorly, that the narrator wants to go back to the very beginning and tell himself to not even travel down that road. I believe that the relationship started poorly because of the lines: "Take me back to the night we met:When the night was full of terrors: And your eyes were filled with tears: When you had not touched me yet" So, the first night was not a great start, but the narrator pursued the relationship and eventually both overcame the rough start to fall in love with each other: "I had all and then most of you" Like many relationships that turn sour, it was not a quick decline, but a gradual one where the narrator and their partner fall out of love and gradually grow apart "Some and now none of you" Losing someone who was once everything in your world, who you could confide in, tell your secrets to, share all the most intimate parts of your life, to being strangers with that person is probably one of the most painful experiences a person can go through. So Painful, the narrator wants to go back in time and tell himself to not even pursue the relationship. This was the perfect song for "13 Reasons Why"

Holiday
Bee Gees
@[Diderik:33655] "Your a holiday!" Was a popular term used in the 50s/60s to compliment someone on their all around. For example, not only are they beautiful, but they are fun and kind too ... just an all around "holiday". I think your first comment is closer to being accurate. The singer/song writers state "Millions of eyes can see, yet why am i so blind!? When the someone else is me, its unkind its unkind". I believe hes referring to the girl toying with him and using him. He wants something deeper with her, thats why he allows himself to be as a puppet (even though for her fun and games) as long as it makes her happy. But he knows deep down that she doesnt really want to be serious with him and thats what makes him.

Blue
Ed Sheeran
“Blue” is a song about a love that is persisting in the discomfort of the person experiencing the emotion. Ed Sheeran reflects on love lost, and although he wishes his former partner find happiness, he cannot but admit his feelings are still very much there. He expresses the realization that he might never find another on this stringed instrumental by Aaron Dessner.

American Town
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran shares a short story of reconnecting with an old flame on “American Town.” The track is about a holiday Ed Sheeran spends with his countrywoman who resides in America. The two are back together after a long period apart, and get around to enjoying a bunch of fun activities while rekindling the flames of their romance.

Page
Ed Sheeran
There aren’t many things that’ll hurt more than giving love a chance against your better judgement only to have your heart crushed yet again. Ed Sheeran tells such a story on “Page.” On this track, he is devastated to have lost his lover and even more saddened by the feeling that he may never move on from this.
