I'm wide awake
In the middle of the night
I feel like I can't breathe (can't breathe)
The words of your goodbye crash over me
What about my life
What about these dreams, these dreams
That haunt me everytime you leave

But you can't take back
All your promises (Can't take back your promise)
All the secrets that we share
Baby you forget
I was there

I believe in a world of make believe (In Make Believe)
In a world that plays with my imagination
In a game of your creation
I believe in a world of fantasty
Everytime that you and I get close
Am I just living in a world of make believe

Livin' in a world of make believe
Livin' in a, Livin' in a
Livin' in a world of make believe
Livin' in a (World of make believe) Livin' in a

I'm on the edge
And you know I'll take you back
You know I'm sinking fast
Oh no
Caught between the future and the past
Cause who could take your place
I can't replace the taste
Or erase the look of pleasure on your face

No I can't take back
All the love I gave
Or the fact that I still care
Baby you forget
I was there

I believe in a world of make believe (Believe)
In a world that plays with my imagination
In a game of your creation
I believe in a world of fantasy (I believe in fantasy)
Everytime that you and I get close
Am I just living in a world of make believe

Livin' in a world of make believe

You make me believe in magic
And that miracles come true
I believe, I believe in you

Now I'm reaching out to hold you
As you vanish in thin air
Is there anybody out there (Anybody out there)

I believe in a world of make believe
In a world that plays with my imagination
In a game of your creation
I believe in a world of fantasy
Everytime that you and I get close
Am I just living in a world of make believe

Livin' in a world of make believe
Livin' in a, Livin' in a
Livin' in a world of make believe
Livin' in a, Livin' in a
Livin' in a world of make believe (I said livin' in a world of make believe)
Livin' in a, Livin' in a
Livin' in a world of make believe
Livin' in a, Livin' in a (World of make believe)
Livin' in a world of make believe
Livin' in a, Livin' in a ( I said livin' in a world...)
Livin' in a world of make believe
Livin' in a, Livin' in a

Son Şansın - Şarkı Sözleri
Hayalperest
This song seemingly tackles the methods of deception those who manipulate others use to get victims to follow their demands, as well as diverting attention away from important issues. They'll also use it as a means to convince people to hate or kill others by pretending acts of terrorism were committed by the enemy when the acts themselves were done by the masters of control to promote discrimination and hate. It also reinforces the idea that these manipulative forces operate in various locations, infiltrating everyday life without detection, and propagate any and everywhere. In general, it highlights the danger of hidden agendas, manipulation, and distraction, serving as a critique of those who exploit chaos and confusion to control and gain power, depicting a cautionary tale against falling into their traps. It encourages us to question the narratives presented to us and remain vigilant against manipulation in various parts of society.

Silent Planet
I think much like another song “Anti-Matter” (that's also on the same album as this song), this one is also is inspired by a horrifying van crash the band experienced on Nov 3, 2022. This, much like the other track, sounds like it's an extension what they shared while huddled in the wreckage, as they helped frontman Garrett Russell stem the bleeding from his head wound while he was under the temporary effects of a concussion. The track speaks of where the mind goes at the most desperate & desolate of times, when it just about slips away to all but disconnect itself, and the aftermath.

When We Were Young
Blink-182
This is a sequel to 2001's "Reckless Abandon", and features the band looking back on their clumsy youth fondly.

Amazing
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran tells a story of unsuccessfully trying to feel “Amazing.” This track is about the being weighed down by emotional stress despite valiant attempts to find some positivity in the situation. This track was written by Ed Sheeran from the perspective of his friend. From the track, we see this person fall deeper into the negative thoughts and slide further down the path of mental torment with every lyric.
