Hey mom, why didn't you tell me?
Why didn't you teach me a thing or two?
You just let me go out into the world
You never thought to share what you knew

So I walked under a bus
I got hit by a train
Keep falling in love
Which is kind of the same
I've sunk out at sea, crashed my car, gone insane
And I felt so good
I wanna do it again

Hey mom, why didn't you warn me?
'Cause I found boys were something I should have known
They're like chocolate cake, like cigarettes
I know they're bad for me but I just can't leave 'em alone

So I walked under a bus (hey, yeah)
I got hit by a train
Keep falling in love
Which is kind of the same
I've sunk out at sea, crashed my car, gone insane
And I felt so good
I wanna do it again

(Yeah, I walked) Under a bus
I got hit by a train (yeah)
It felt so good (so good)
I wanna do it again
I wanna do it again
I wanna do it again (hey, yeah, yeah)

Oh, baby, I'm so good
Yeah-yeah, yeah, yeah-yeah

Hey mom, since we're talking
What was it like when you were young?
Has the world changed, or is it still the same?
A man can kill and still be the sweetest fun

I walked under a bus
I got hit by a train
Keep falling in love
Which is kind of the same
I've sunk out at sea, crashed my car, gone insane
And I felt so good
I wanna do it again

Under a bus
I got hit by a train
Keep falling in love
Which is kind of the same
I've sunk out at sea, crashed my car, gone insane
And I felt so good
I wanna do it again

Under a bus
I got hit by a train
And I felt so good
I wanna do it again

My neighbor introduced me to this song, and I couldn't get it out of my head afterwards. At first, I thought the lyrics were a bit odd, but it really does make since.

When you aren't prepared for the roller coaster ride of falling in and out of love, then you can get into some pretty painful situations. Your first heartbreak, will feel quite similar to being hit by a train, emotionally. I think many young ladies wish their moms would've ''warned'' them about how much they could get hurt in relationships, instead of focusing only on the idea of finding ''prince charming''.

Hayalperest
This song seemingly tackles the methods of deception those who manipulate others use to get victims to follow their demands, as well as diverting attention away from important issues. They'll also use it as a means to convince people to hate or kill others by pretending acts of terrorism were committed by the enemy when the acts themselves were done by the masters of control to promote discrimination and hate. It also reinforces the idea that these manipulative forces operate in various locations, infiltrating everyday life without detection, and propagate any and everywhere. In general, it highlights the danger of hidden agendas, manipulation, and distraction, serving as a critique of those who exploit chaos and confusion to control and gain power, depicting a cautionary tale against falling into their traps. It encourages us to question the narratives presented to us and remain vigilant against manipulation in various parts of society.

Just A Little Lovin'
Dusty Springfield
I don't think it's necessarily about sex. It's about wanting to start the day with some love and affection. Maybe a warm cuddle. I'm not alone in interpreting it that way! For example: "'Just a Little Lovin’ is a timeless country song originally recorded by Eddy Arnold in 1954. The song, written by Eddie Miller and Jimmy Campbell, explores the delicate nuances of love and showcases Arnold’s emotive vocals. It delves into the universal theme of love and how even the smallest gesture of affection can have a profound impact on our lives." https://oldtimemusic.com/the-meaning-behind-the-song-just-a-little-lovin-by-eddy-arnold/
