It's early June and he's already calling my name
Making love hard, knowing summer'll never be the same
And it's that love that makes me go weak
It's that love that's leaving words so impossible to speak

Wishing he was here in late July
But he's been gone for awhile now,
leaving nothing except tears to cry
Oh all I have now are tears to cry

That last night together we stayed up until dawn
Wrapped up in eachother's embrace
And I told him the next day I'd be gone
But he was too drunk to notice the tear streaks going down my face

Wishing he was here in late July
But he's been gone for awhile now,
leaving nothing except tears to cry
Oh all I have now are tears to cry
And that sad memory of saying good-bye

Next June will be the same
But a different boy with a different name
But the same heartache and the same pain

General CommentI can totally relate....it's about having summer loves and how one minute you have them there and then they leave and you're left with a beautiful memory and horrible pain
