"Make It 'Till Monday" as written by and Simon/salisbury Jones....
Hey my friend are we gonna make it till Monday?
Another Friday night waiting for a revelation
I can see a million faces in the condensation

Hey my friend are we gonna make it till Monday?
Hey my friend you better leave now
I'm gonna go my own way
You said I suffer from inner frustration

In a moment you changed
Now things weren't the same
You were talking at me not with me
And your tongue was burning up in flames
Are you coming back?
Are you coming back?
When Monday comes you'll be alone
With the whole world staring at you
Better leave now

General CommentI interpret this as a song about coming down from a drug hallucination, fearing that death is just around the corner, and hanging in there because there will always be a Monday.

General CommentSimilarly, I see it as a big weekend on hallucinogenics, maybe acid and/or pills, and it goes a bit wrong, the vibe the guys are chasing changes and they aren't on the same wavelength. They will make it til Monday but it's going to be hard getting there, and when Monday comes, it won't be fun.

General Commentobviously about a Friday night on drugs, likely E. Ashcroft is scared cause he's tripping hard, hence why he's asking "Hey my friend are we gonna make it till Monday?"
