I wish, I wish, I wish, I wish
Around and about...
Down, I'm (sc) heir
To thrown nowhere.

and I wish, I wish, I wish, I wish
A mountain of doubt down, I'm heir
to throne nowhere.

Cause,

Here's where the train ride ends.
Screaming, "Is this your decision?"
We were the best of friends,
I'll go nowhere.

This isn't where,
This isn't where I found you
This isn't where,
This isn't where I found you

"My life is such a ball that I run the world from city hall"
And I knew you all.
"My life is such a ball that I run the world from city hall"
and i own you all.

Here's where the train ride ends.
Screaming, "Is this your decision?"
We were the best of friends,
and I'll go nowhere.

This isn't where,
This isn't where I found you
This isn't where,
This isn't where I found you

In this, in this, in this, in this
In this, in this, in this Holiday Inn..

This isn't where,
This isn't where I found you
This isn't where,
This isn't where I found you

Well,
Welcome back race fans, it's Cavalcade sport time again.
Here at the jamboree,
Home of the hits.
How you doing Bob?
It's the last stretch
And my heart.. my heart stays in the lead
And we see first, second behind my heart is my mind
Third behind my mind is my body.
Fourth behind my body is my soul
And my heart stays in the lead.
Coming around the stretch..
That was a good one Bob. (repeat)

No dutch.

This isn't where,
This isn't where I found you
This isn't where,
This isn't where I found you

In this, in this, in this, in this
In this, in this, in this Holiday Inn..

This isn't where,
This isn't where I found you
This isn't where,
This isn't where I found you

"Home is where the heart is..."
"Home is where the heart is..."
"on the bus!"
"Home is where my heart is..."
"on the bus!"

"Hi, it's your mom, checking on you,
said you'd call, let us know you're still alive.
Thanks, bye."

General CommentI'm not sure (but I've heard) that a losing horse in a race was to be killed. If his heart's in first, his mind in second, body in third, and soul in fourth - then I think he's making a statement about losing everything if he follows his heart.

Then again, this is why I suck at writing lyrics...I think waaay too far into it.

General Commentchulavista... i think what cla1rvoyance means is the part where daryl says:

    It's the last stretch
And my heart.. my heart stays in the lead
And we see first, second behind my heart is my mind
Third behind my mind is my body.
Fourth behind my body is my soul
And my heart stays in the lead.

it sounds like he's a commentator at a horse race or something. and he's using his heart, his body, his mind & his soul as "horse names".. i cant think of a good way to explain it. but you know at horse racers and theyre like "bob the horse is in the lead followed by joe.." etc etc, its like daryl doing that, but he's talking about himself and explaining how he feels inside (he uses his heart first, then his mind, then so on.. thats just how i interpret it..
