The wicked of the witch inhabits every man
Pretending like the wizard to be better than I am
But the Father God above sent a twister shaped in love
To send a revelation of another world
And there’s no…

Chorus
And there’s no place like home
And there’s no place like home
And there’s no place like home
And there’s no place like home
There’s no place like home, no place like home

Intelligence is given to our straw-filled minds
And courage comes to aid us in the things we’ve left behind
And if the tin around our hearts seems hollow, here’s the find
That the Maker of a tender heart provided our new mind

Chorus
And there’s no place like home
And there’s no place like home
And there’s no place like home
And there’s no place like home

Bridge
Let the longing for my journey be
The constant seeking for my true home
When time is swallowed into destiny
There’s no place like home

Chorus x2
And there’s no place like home
And there’s no place like home
And there’s no place like home
And there’s no place like home
There’s no place like home

General Commentin The Wizard of Oz, the lion gains courage, the tinman gets a tender heart, and the scarecrow recieves a new mind.
God when we decide to live for Him,will give us a new mind, a new heart and courage to live for him.
this is off of scarecrowtinmen.com/… :

" '"One thing that certainly sticks in your brain about Scarecrow & Tinmen is the band's name. "The name really does have depth and meaning," says Chris. "' The Wizard of Oz' is such a wonderful piece of Americana; everybody's got some kind of memory associated with it. Of course, we identify most closely with the Scarecrow and the Tinman, who needed a brain and a heart. As Christians, God gives us a new mind and a new heart.'" "

but my brother and i kind of figured out the meaning on our own after we met the drummer who was on the No Place Like Home album last summer.
