"Never Meant To Be" as written by and Samantha/eriksen Mumba....
I remember when I still belived the things you said.
Never would have thought that this would come to an end.
How was I to know that you had another someone new?
I recall the days loved you in a million ways.
Suddenly; you and me, from friends to history.
I realize that my trust ain't coming back no more.

'Cause my love for you will always last eternally,
You are in my heart.
I loved you from the start.
Baby, it's hard to believe that you and I were never meant to be.

Does anybody know this feeling of despair?
When you really love someone?
When you really care?
It's hard to walk away when I really want to stay with you.
Does anybody know what tears you up inside?
When you try to decide between what's wrong and right?
Gotta know for sure my trust ain't coming back no more.

[Chorus: x2]

That you and I were never meant to be.
(Yeah Yeah Yeah)
That you and I were never meant to be.

General CommentCan't believe nobody has commented on this song!! I guess not many people know of it. This is a very moving song. It's very heart-breaking.. it's tragic. But there is something very beautiful about it. It's like she's letting go, I guess she has no other choice. I really love this song a lot. I love the mood of it when I listen to it. It's lovely. There's something very innocent about it.

General CommentThis song means a lot to me right now. A guy I know (and love) is moving away, so I've had to accept the fact that we were just never meant to be. :( But I know I'll always feel the same way about him, regardless of everything.
