"Let It Ride" as written by Charles Turner and Randy Bachman....
Good bye, hard life
Don't cry would you let it ride?
Good bye, hard life
Don't cry would you let it ride?

You can't see the mornin', but I can see the light
Try, try, try let it ride
While you've been out runnin' I've been waitin' half the night
Try, try, try let it ride

And would you cry if I told you that I lied and would you say goodbye or
Would you let it ride?
And would you cry if I told you that I lied
And would you say goodbye or would you let it ride?

Seems my life is not complete I never see you smile
Try, try, try let it ride
Baby you want the forgivin' kind and that's just not my style
Try, try, try let it ride

And would you cry if I told you that I lied and would you say goodbye or
Would you let it ride?
And would you cry if I told you that I lied
And would you say goodbye or would you let it ride?

I've been doin' things worthwhile, you've been bookin' time
Try, try, try let it ride

And would you cry if I told you that I lied and would you say goodbye or
Would you let it ride?
And would you cry if I told you that I lied
And would you say goodbye or would you let it ride?

Would you let it ride
Would you let it ride
Would you let it ride
Would you let it ride

Try, try, try let it ride
Try, try, try let it ride
Try, try, try let it ride
Try, try, try let it ride

Try, try, try let it ride
Try, try, try let it ride
Try, try, try let it ride
Try, try, try let it ride

Try, try, try let it ride
Would you let it ride?
Would you let it ride?
Would you let it ride?
Would you let it ride?

General Commenti'm certain it's drive, drive, drive, let it ride

ummm, it's about a girl who has wronged the dude and she wants forgiven, but he will never forgive her so he asks her if she'd forgive him and he's like, "yea, that's right bitch" and she's fuckin history

General CommentI'm not sure what the song is about, but I know how it was written! Okay so this i show it goes. One day, Randy and his band were one the road, going from Winnipeg (my hometown too) to New Orleans. And they were on the road, and they boxed in on the highway, so that is when there's a semi-truck in front and in behind you, and you can't get out. (its very scary) well I can't remember what happened, but I think someone got angry and the semi driver said "LET IT RIDE" and the song was born.

General CommentSomeone should make a list of the songs that repeat the same phrase the most times. I don't think this song would win, but it would rank pretty high. 26 repeats of "let it ride" according to the lyrics above. That's pretty annoying.
