You used to think you were smarter than me....you were smarter. You used to think you were harder than me, harder.
I was so sharp I resisted for years. They were so smart. They were so smart that they brought us to tears. I was so sharp.
It's snowing again in both of our heads lets sit here and watch it fall. It's snowing again in both of our heads lets stay here and watch it fall.
You used to think that you were smarter than me....you were smarter. You used to think that you were harder than me, harder.
I'm walking through the streets with a streamlined version of you I wonder which is beautiful the chorus or the splitting light. I wonder this without you here I wonder it with all my might.
You used to think you were smarter than me.....you were smarter. You used to think you were smarter than me.... You were smarter. You used to think you were smarter than me....you were smarter.

General CommentThe way the intro slowly builds up and comes at you is a great effect. It's all so haunting and painful.
I get a feeling it's about resisting/fighting against something e.g. some kind of differences (people not fitting in).

Perhaps it's quite cliche and it's simply about a break up, but I suspect there's more to it.
