"Funny How Time Flies (When You're Having Fun)" as written by Terry Lewis and James Samuel Harris Iii....
Funny how time flies when you're having fun... Oh baby
Funny how time flies when you're having fun... Oh baby

I don't know where it all went... Time passed us by
Just when it seemed the fun began... ooh...F

Funny how time flies when you're having fun
Funny how time flies when you're having fun

But time never ends... Let's find the time
To get together once again... someday soon

Funny how time flies when you're having fun
Funny how time flies when you're having fun

Don't you ever leave
(Funny how time flies when you're having fun)
Don't you ever go
Say you love me so
(Funny how time flies when you're having fun)
Funny how time flies when you're having fun... When you're having fun
Funny how time flies when you're having fun

I really don't know where all the time went
I really have to go
Stop, stop!
Oh I really have to go
Oh I really have to go
One more time? Oh...

General Commentthe unofficial seventh single from "conrol". it's definitely one of the most catchy tunes on the album. i think it's pretty self-explanatory. she's spending time with her lover and the time goes by quickly while they're fooling around. in the end, she tries to leave but ends up staying enjoying the moment. it's safe to say that janet's sexuality in her music can trace its origins back to this song.

General CommentThis song is so classic and one of my favorite Janet songs. Just like mystcist stated, it's basically a song about having a such a good time with her lover that it quickly goes by. I think anyone can relate to this song.
