"Lucille" as written by Richard Penniman and Albert Collins....
Lucille, you won't do your sister's will?
Oh, Lucille, you won't do your sister's will?
You ran off and married, but I love you still

Lucille, please, come back where you belong
Lucille, please, come back where you belong
I been good to you, baby, please, don't leave me alone

I woke up this morning, Lucille was not in sight
I asked my friends about her but all their lips were tight
Lucille, please, come back where you belong
I been good to you, baby, please, don't leave me alone, whoa

I woke up this morning, Lucille was not in sight
I asked my friends about her but all their lips were tight
Lucille, please, come back where you belong
I been good to you, baby, please, don't leave me alone

Lucille, baby, satisfy my heart
Lucille, baby, satisfy my heart
I played for it, baby, and gave you such a wonderful start

General CommentI always thought that in the last line of the 2nd verse it said:

"I beg it to you baby, please don't leave me alone"

Nice, catchy and rockin' song.. meaning is pretty obvious though. One of LR's highlights.

General CommentI always thought the lyrics were different... I just googled it and there are about a million variations.. The one I know goes "You don't do your Daddy's will/ Ain't nothing to you, but I-I-I love you still." When I was little, the only words I could make out were "Ain't nothing to you, but I love you still", so I always thought it was about a short, skinny young girl but he loved her anyway!
