"Avondale" as written by Benjamin Eric Harper, William Ryan Key, Peter Michael Mosely, Longineu Warren Iii Parsons and Sean Michael Wellman-mackin....
If you're gonna rip my heart out,
Could you use a knife that's dull and rust in color
(Once I die) there will be no way that you can cover, that scar
It's hard, I know

And if I get a little blood on you
Finally the world will know you're guilty
(Know you're wrong)
Of taking everything you've gotten from me no heart
Its hard, I know

Mighty King of Avondale
I just can't let this go
Real life ain't no fairy tale
I just thought you should know

When you're finished with the surgery
I really hope that you will turn to me
And tell me all about the fun you had
When you were cutting up, you were cutting up

Mighty King of Avondale
I just can't let this go
Real life ain't no fairy tale
I just thought you should know

Living like a fairy tale
The mighty King of Avondale
It all went to his head, this royalty
I stuck a knife into his back
Inventiveness is what I lack
He's always hanging up on loyalty

Mighty King of Avondale
I just can't let this go
Real life ain't no fairy tale
I just thought you should know

General CommentThis seems like a good song! Is it on their EP? It seems like to me that they're changing their tpye of lyrics! But Yellowcard still rocks!

General Commentthis song is actually about dan mclintock of inspection 12, its a long story, but no yellowcard's lyrics aren't all gonna be about this particular subject, ryan just needed to get this off his chest, and dan and ryan made up last month

General Commentwell...this song rocks...by far the best on the ep...HOWEVER...is it me or does this song, the lyrics it intails, and the supposed story behind it..sound a little too familiar? thats right folks..taking back sunday and brand new with their two songs...i mean..i know this situation can occur with a lot of people but the thing that got me were the lyrics and the screaming towards the end...very taking back sunday...but i guess there's room for both....rock on...

General CommentI totally love this song. I DLed it and it is so good! I love Yellowcard to death! I can't wait to get their EP! It is gonna be so good and I think that so fare of wut I heard of this song since I'm DLing it on KaZaA rite now that this is so fare the best song off of the EP! It sounds so good. It also seems like Yellowcard has a new sound short-a. Is it just me or do yahz all think that too. Either way Yellowcard is still a really awesome AWESOME band and they are by fare one and always my all time favorite bands. I love Yellowcard!:)
