"Sweet Children" as written by and Billie Joe/pritchard Armstrong....
See a young girl so soft and blonde.
Doesn't attack me but she did once.
Intoxication's in her veins.
Sweet young boy plays with her brain.
Lydia'll bring to life.
What are your chance not to oblige.
Putting his hand on her thigh.
Ability has now been ripped.
Take it away, I'd rather sit.
Sweet children, sweet children, sweet children. Remember when.
Johnny's playing fun and games, or else he's ?in the storage shed?.
Running from the light of day, or maybe lie and celebrate.
The funny circus from his head.
Follow me if you understand.
I'll trick her so she'll do it.
Then I'll sing and now we run.
Sweet children, sweet children, sweet children. Remember when.
Sweet children, sweet children, sweet children. Remember when

General CommentThe lyrics are wrong, they should be:

Sweet young girl so soft and blond
Does exactly what she's been warned
    Intoxication's in her veins
Sweet young boy plays with her friend
Believing all his fate filled lies
Putting his hands on to her thighs
Her purity has now been ripped
He takes it away and that's it

    Sweet children
    Sweet children
    Sweet children
    We'll never win

    Johnny Ray has running beer
As the end is drawing near
Running from the light of day
Or maybe he'd lie and celebrate
This funny circus from his head
    Follow me if you understand
You're the trigger of his gun
And then I'll sing and now we run

    Sweet children
    Sweet children
    Sweet children
    We'll never win
    Sweet children
    Sweet children
    Sweet children
    We'll never win

General Commenti thank vivienne for the good lyrics... i'll listen to the song now and hear if they're right =) unfortunately the lyrics to the 4 last kerplunk-songs are never found anywhere correctly, and it's so tough to figure them out by listening, since billie is a quite sloppy singer in this songs, what's cool though..

General CommentSweet young girl so soft and blonde.
does exactly what she's been warned.
    Intoxication's in her veins.
Sweet young boy plays with her brain.
believing all his faith that lies
Putting his hands onto her thighs.
    impurity has now been gripped.
    He takes away her innocence

Sweet children, sweet children, sweet children.
    Remember when.

Johnny Ray is running again, as he hit the floor again
Running from the light of day, or maybe lie and celebrate.
the slightest urge goes from his hands.
    Follow me if you understand.
he's got the trigger on his gun
Final sin and now he runs

Sweet children, sweet children, sweet children. Remember when.
Sweet children, sweet children, sweet children. will never win

    those are the lyrics. correctly.
