"Inevitable (english Version)" as written by Luis Ochoa and Shakira Isabel Mebarak....
Si es cuestión de confesar
No sé preparar café
Y no entiendo de fútbol
Creo que alguna vez fuí infiel
Juego mal hasta el parqués
Y jamás uso reloj

Y para ser más franca nadie
Piensa en ti como lo hago yo
Aunque te dé lo mismo

Si es cuestión de confesar
Nunca duermo antes de diez
Ni me baño los domingos
La verdad es que también
Lloro una vez al mes
Sobre todo cuando hay frío

Conmigo nada es fácil
Ya debes saber
Me conoces bien
Y sin ti todo es tan aburrido

El cielo está cansado ya de ver
La lluvia caer
Y cada día que pasa es uno más
Parecido a ayer
No encuentro forma a alguna de
Olvidarte porque
Seguir amándote es inevitable

Siempre supe que es mejor
Cuando hay que hablar de dos
Empezar por uno mismo
Ya sabrás la situación
Aquí todo está peor
Pero al menos aún respiro

No tienes que decirlo
No vas a volver
Te conozco bien
Ya buscaré qué hacer conmigo

El cielo está cansado ya de ver
La lluvia caer
Y cada día que pasa es uno más
Parecido a ayer
No encuentro forma a alguna de
Olvidarte porque
Seguir amándote es inevitable

Siempre supe que es mejor
Cuando hay que hablar de dos
Empezar por uno mismo

General CommentYea i've never heard the English version, but this song is incomparable in Spanish so i wont even bother looking for the enligh one. The translation is surprisingly well done and still managed to rhyme even as a direct translation! Well some things are a bit different but hey, poetic license ;)

General Commentwow... I didn't even know there was an english version... I still love the Spanish version better (no one jump down my throat! haha) the words just flow better so much, & I feel so powerful when I sing it in Spanish... when I read the english version, I felt a weakness as I was hearing it in my head, not as strong as how it is in spanish... I guess it's just b/c I'm a latina wannabe... haha

General CommentIt was like the first song she sang in english... From there the idea of making an english album was born, it is an old song but yet it is hard to find it, well not really hard, you can find it on any P2P thing... It is a great song... I like the ENGLISH version better...

General CommentTracey, you don't have to post in every translation of a Shakira song that the "Spanish is better". In some cases, I wouldn't know songs unless I knew roughly what it was saying in English. It is a great song either way, but I wish she'd perform it in English on her next tour... (& that she'd return to Australia)
