"Put Your Head On My Shoulder" as written by and Paul Anka....
Put your head on my shoulder
Hold me in your arms, baby
Squeeze me oh-so-tight
Show me that you love me too

Put your lips next to mine, dear
Won't you kiss me once, baby?
Just a kiss goodnight, maybe
You and I will fall in love (you and I will fall in love)

People say that love's a game
A game you just can't win
If there's a way
I'll find it somebody
And then this fool will rush in

Put your head on my shoulder
Whisper in my ear, baby
Words I want to hear
Tell me, tell me that you love me too (tell me that you love me too)

Put your head on my shoulder
Whisper in my ear, baby
Words I want to hear, baby
Put your head on my shoulder

General CommentIm listening to this on the old record player! It's such a nice, slow, love song! A classic!

General Commentit's not a love song perse. it's all about a guy who loves a girl, but she can't decide if she wants love, or her freedom to live her life without any constraints

General Commentthis song reminds me of the last time i saw someone that i love...so it's bittersweet for me now. it's very beautiful and soft, always been one of my favorites but yeah, now it means a lot more to me...i think i was born in the wrong time period, hehe.

General CommentAnka does a great job of conveying passionate song meaning through his words.
more of a love song gone bad. the entire atmosphere isbuilt upon the love of a man for a girl who probably does not feel the same, yet the passion is still there. great song.
