"California" as written by Aron Erlichman, Jorel Decker and George Arthur Ragan....
Free ride, sea side
Tell me what they're doing in California
In the moonlight is so bright
Tell me what they're doing in California

Singing ah ah ah la la la
Where's that sunhat
Pack it for the weather in California
And the streelights run all night.

Tell me what they're doing in California
Can we go there this summer I'll wear a flower in my hair
If we go there this summer I'll walk right to that summer
Can we go there this summer?

Ah ah ah la la la
Where's my sunshine
All are free and friendly in California
In the moonlight, it don't feel right

Ah la la la
Tell me what they're doing in California
Can we go there this summer?
I'll wear a flower in my hair

If we go there this summer
I'll walk right to that summer
Can we go there this summer?
Can we go there this summer?

I'll wear a flower in my hair
If we go there this summer,
I'll walk right to that summer
I'll waltz right though 'cause I don't care

I'll have a flower in my hair.

General CommentDressy Bessy is one of my all time favorite band and California is probably my favorite song of theirs. It just makes me happy and of course, makes me think of California - I love it there! Beaches, summer...just a great song.
