Look in my eyes
I'm jaded now, whatever that means
By sharing these things
I rip my heart out
It's worth my time
Whatever that means, so

Hard to see up
My neck feels stiff until I wake up
The orange I choked
And back to my neck
It's worth my time
Whatever that means, so

Share with me
'Cause I need it right now
Let me see your insides
Or write me off
'Cause I'd rather starve now
If you won't open up

Give it to me
Give me all
Whatever you want
It's never been me
To want this much
From you I can see
Yeah

Share with me
'Cause I need it right now
Let me see your insides
Or write me off
'Cause I'd rather starve now
If you won't open up
You won't open up

Tears me up
Tears me up
Tears me up
Tears me up

Look in my eyes
I'm jaded now, whatever that means
By sharing these things
I rip my heart out
It's worth my time
Whatever that means, so

Share with me
'Cause I need it right now
Let me see your insides
Or write me off
'Cause I'd rather starve now
If you won't open up
Won't open up

(Share with me)
Yeah, it tears me up
('Cause I need it right now, let me see your insides)
Tears me up
(Or write me off)
And it tears me up
('Cause I'd rather starve now if you won't open up)

Tears me up

I think it's about Bert having a girlfriend with a hard life, and she won't let him know what she's been through. I mean, like the "share with me cause I need it right now let me see your insides"

    • part, is for me like: "share your bad memories, because I need to know, trust me and let me see what your life has been like" But that's just me, I don't know if it has something to do with that at all. I'm just guessing (: The Used is my favourite band!

Light Up The Sky
Van Halen
The song lyrics were written by the band Van Halen, as they were asked to write a song for the 1979 movie "Over the Edge" starring Matt Dillon. The movie (and the lyrics, although more obliquely) are about bored, rebellious youth with nothing better to do than get into trouble. If you see the movie, these lyrics will make more sense. It's a great movie if you grew up in the 70s/80s you'll definitely remember some of these characters from your own life. Fun fact, after writing the song, Van Halen decided not to let the movie use it.

This is a sequel to 2001's "Reckless Abandon", and features the band looking back on their clumsy youth fondly.

Page
Ed Sheeran
There aren’t many things that’ll hurt more than giving love a chance against your better judgement only to have your heart crushed yet again. Ed Sheeran tells such a story on “Page.” On this track, he is devastated to have lost his lover and even more saddened by the feeling that he may never move on from this.
