"Out On Patrol" as written by and Bryan Holland....
Look at my soldier boy now
With that big gun in your little hand
As you patrol this foreign land
Hear the mine that clicks beneath your feet

Now do you see the light
Fading while your world is crumbling
Out on patrol
And all you can do is sit and stare
What revelation have you now
What culmination to your speck of life
Your moment in time

As you sit here all alone
Will your buddies come and save your life
But as the enemy appears
See your life flash before your eyes

General Commentthis is a very good song. I like the first CD more than all the others. I think its about a kids who thought the world revolved around him/her and now that kid realizes it doesn't

General CommentHas it got something to do with the so called war family, but if one man is in trouble, no one else gives a shiny shite?

General CommentI've always taken a fairly literal interpretation to this. Young kid goes to war, thinking of idealism and patriotism and all that, and then he's faced with the realities of danger and death.
