"There's A Fire" as written by and Andrew Duncan Damian Kulash....
Stop getting me off track.
I mean it, there's a problem here.
This time it is for real...
How can I make myself more clear?

I never say quite what I mean, and never mean quite what I say,
And how did that get out of me, and what the hell did I mean to say?

This time it is for real.
This is a real emergency.
This time I swear it is the truth...
This must be dealt with urgently!

I never say quite what I mean, and never mean quite what I say,
And how did that get out of me, and what the hell did I mean to say?

There's a fire. There's a fire.

I really mean it now,
This time I swear I have not lied.
This isn't like the last time...
I swear to God I have not lied!

I never say quite what I mean, and never mean quite what I say,
And how did that get out of me, and what the hell did I mean to say?

There's a fire. There's a fire.

General Commentthis is definitely one of my favorite songs by OK Go... it is my fav of this week for sure :) it has a lotta awesome lyrics... i mean, c'mon, who cant relate to this for at least one situation??? "I never say quite what I mean, and never mean quite what I say, and how did that get out of me, and what the hell did I mean to say?" - - and my fav part is "this isnt like the, like the, like, LIKE LAST TIME" :) thats passion!!!

General CommentIt makes me think of someone that cries wolf.....and there is the neat effect of him stuttering "for real"

Great song, simplistic, fun, and thought provoking

General Commentit's the pain of someone who needs to pour it all out but can't, which makes it roll down into this giant snowball that doesn't work as an excuse for his silence. it's a rather simple, but real song. and i like the way the melodies makes this kind of stomache-ache feeling seem like just a provocatively nice emotion.

General CommentI was sickly obsessed with this song for like, 3 weeks. I would play it over and over and over. I love it still!
    Ok Go is amazing!

General CommentI love the rhythm during the instrumental sections; it's so deceptive. It always makes me think I've lost the count. Good song.
