The sun will rise another time
Colors blind your virgin eyes
I'm so inclined to make you mine
You're out of line and out of time

And I float upon a shallow bay
Lift me up until the ground gives way
I'm a California castaway
I don't think you wanna fuck with me

Don't overkill
The painless thrill
It's bitter still
Your pretty pill
You're waiting till you've had your fill
I know you will, I know you will

And I float upon a shallow bay
Lift me up until the ground gives way
I'm a California castaway
I don't think you wanna fuck with me

A shallow bay, a shallow bay

And I float upon a shallow bay
Lift me up until the ground gives way
I'm a California castaway
I don't think you wanna fuck with me

You live you learn
You live you learn
You live you learn
You live

General CommentThis is my favorite song on the album. This and Medicate. This is the kind of band I'd wait all night to get tickets for. As SOON as they I get my liscence I'm driving down to the states and following one of their tours. (Wow thats a little freakish huh?)

    Lyric CorrectionCome on

    The sun will rise
    Another time
    The colors blind

    And out of time

And I float upon a shallow bay
Lift me up until the ground gives way
    I'm a California castaway
I don't think you wanna fuck with me

    Don't move again
    This painless thrill
    It's bitter still
    Your pretty pill
    You wait until
    You've had your fill
    I know you will

General CommentThis is one of my favorites from Breaking Benjamin, though I'm not quite sure what it's about... still, beautiful lyrics.

General Commentit's not that complicated, but i might be wrong.
it's about a girl. he liked her, they went out, she raised him up, but not too high (float upon a shallow bay). then she dropped him (ground gives way) now he's angry, but he'll be ok, as he adopts the philosiphy you live you learn.
