"Time Capsule" as written by and Matthew Sweet....
Stop what you're doing to me
My love don't want to see

Then-We were young and strong
Now-Everything is wrong (so wrong)
Did you want me
Did you need me
Could you not say
You believed me
Could you not say

And our love is in a time capsule
Dream what you want me to be
Come and dig for me

Then-We were young and strong
Now-Everything is wrong (so wrong)
Didn't you want me
Didn't you need me
Could you not say
You believed me

And our love is in a time capsule
Then-We were young and strong
Now-Everything is wrong (so wrong)
Didn't you want me
Didn't you need me
Could you not say
You believed me

And our love is in a time capsule
Let's dig it up

General CommentThis is one of the all time great songs......

Back when Sweet had the killer band.

The lyrics fringe on not making sense...and often that is the case with great songs.

Sweet get that band back together again.

General Commentthis song is obviously about him thinking back on days he had with a girl while they both were into eachother. Time has passed and they have grown apart, and he keeps those good times as a "time capsule" of when they loved eachother. He says "lets dig it up.." because he wants to relive those days.
