"The Robots" as written by and Huetter/schneider-esleben/bartos....
We're charging our battery
And now we're full of energy
We are the robots

We're functioning automatik
And we are dancing mechanik
We are the robots

Ja tvoi sluga (=I'm your slave)
Ja tvoi Rabotnik robotnik (=I'm your worker)

We are programmed just to do
anything you want us to
we are the robots

We're functioning automatic
and we are dancing mechanic
we are the robots

Ja tvoi sluga (=I'm your slave)
Ja tvoi Rabotnik robotnik (=I'm your worker)

We are the robots

General CommentKraftwerk are an amazing band. They sure are weird but that's what makes them so great, there is no band like them and their music so different.

General CommentThe russian lines (well, as far as I heard, that´s russian!) "Ja tvoi sluga/ ja tvoi rabotnik" mean "I´m you slave/I´m your worker".

    Great instrumental, great lyrics.

General Comment"Ja tvoi sluga" means "I'm your servant" not "I'm your slave".

General CommentKraftwerk are the robots! There are NOT a lot of other robot bands after them! Once you get beyond DEVO, it's all over.

General CommentOn another level, the song is about how dehumanized things had become for the lower class workers. It is easy for a boss to see the worker as nothing more than a robot to perform tasks as the boss sees fit. The Russian in the middle (which is really Я твой слуга/Я твой работник according to the official video. It means "I am your servant/I am your worker") emphasizes this.
