Let me tell you somethin' about myself
I think I'll tell you and nobody else
because deep down inside
I know you're listening
I think about her every night
I watch her move beneath the moonlight
She's the only one I could turn to, turn to
and I'll never turn to anyone else
so now you know
Just how I loved her so
I did anything she told me
You see, I'm a simple man with simple dreams
I'm telling you things are not what they seem
because deep down inside
I know you're listening
I wanted nothing but to make her feel
Life would make it be so surreal
She told me not to let go until she turned blue
Turned blue
and I'll never turn to anyone else so now you know
Just how I loved her so
Oh, I didn't want to go away
No, I did anything she told me
I did everything she told me
I know she's up there laughing at me
She was the only one
She was so now you know
Just how I loved her so
She wasn't supposed to go away
I did anything she told me
I did everything she told me
So let me tell you something about myself
I think I'll tell you and nobody else
because deep down inside I know you're listening
She decided to fade that night
Shut her eyes for the last time
She's the only one that could make you understand...

General CommentI'm not sure, exactly, but to me, it sounds like the narrator is talking about how he helped in an assisted suicide with the woman he loved, confiding in someone he trusts.

It's a very morbid thought, but an interesting perspective.

General CommentThis song is about Erotic asphyxiation also known as asphyxiophilia, breath control play, or scarfing. This is the practice of intentionally reducing the amount of oxygen to the brain during sexual stimulation in order to heighten the received pleasure from orgasm. The girl was telling him to do it to her and he only wanted to please her but ended up killing her.

General CommentThis song is from the "American Werewolf in Paris" soundtrack. It eventually ended up on their first Hollywood records release of "Monsoon". The versions of the songs very in sound slightly, however the lyrics are the same. I personally like the soundtrack version. It is a bit rougher and edgier. The song is about a guy who falls in love with a girl at a distance and when they meet she asks him to help her kill herself. This is also kind of how the movie starts where he saves her in the movie, however the song differs there. In the song he helps her kill herself. It all seems to be a conversation on the brink of psychological breakdown where he is justifing to himself of the death vs murder.
