"Hollow" as written by and Maynard James/howerdel Keenan....
No, don't drag me down!

All this sickness, hard to swallow.
Eats my insides, until I'm hollow.
Indecision, fornication.
Contemplation, to damnation.

This world is a breeding ground.
Take a look at the bleeding ground.
Adoration, temptation.
Contemplation, to frustration.
You'll fall apart. don't drag me down.
You rule this world, with a synthetic crown.

Kill each other for no reason.
To go against it, this is treason.
Action reaction. action reaction!

All this sickness, forced to swallow.
Fills me inside, I must follow.
Is this is what you want to see?
This is going to piss me off, I will not agree.

You'll fall apart. don't drag me down.
You rule this world, with a synthetic crown.
Go
Is this what you want to see?
This is going to piss me off, I will not agree!

General CommentA song about the downfall of civilization caused by society's own wrongdoing. It's the world that is hollow and empty. Many things that are wrong with the world are listed: "indecision, fornication, condemnation", "temptation, contemplation, to frustration." Killing each other for no reason is obviously about war for political advantage, religion, or hate. "all this sickness forced to swallow" means that each individual has no choice but to take in and accept all the pain and suffering in the world with little or nothing to do about it. As for the "you" in the song, it could be linked to satan or evil "ruling" the world or having so much affect on society. The singer does not like how people have created such misery and states this at the end; "this is going to piss me off, i will not agree."

My OpinionThis Song Is Amzing. As Well As The Band. But To Bad. I Heard They Broke Up Like Maybe A Couple Of Months Ago. I Recently Started Listening To Them. Gun In Hand Is My Favorite Song. But Hallow Was The First Song I Heard By Them, I Agree With You 86Ashles. :]
