Your lipstick covers me.
It stays when you leave.
It's red like a setting sun.
I'm gonna wear it home.
You painted me.
You painted me.
I wish I was the only one.
Your lipstick comforts me.
Your lips keep touching me.
I don't feel the lies.
I know they all can see.
You painted me.
You painted me.
You painted me.
You painted me.
You painted me.
You painted me.
You painted me.
You painted me.
I wish I was the only one.
I wish I was the only one.
When I'm on the stage
you wont be a memory,
cause there's a sea of red
and it's coming to me.
It's red, it's red, I remember it red.
It's red, it's red, I remember it red.
Now it's gone like a setting sun.
You're gone like a setting sun.
You're gone like a setting sun.
You're gone like a setting sun.
You're gone like a setting sun.
You're gone.

General CommentWhat an excellent song, the guitar opening is fantastic. This appears to me to be about the narrator wishing the girl he is infatuated with would focus her attentions on him. He laments her loss, but remembers the good times.
