Pulse

got for gimmick... devise

well, let's sleep let's see the dream blood . earth . lie . sky
vomit inside the body body . god . box . beast
glorious moon isn't it pretty smell . neck . trap . black
That person is inside a wall...

scarlet sweet a memory sketched as a spiral returns to the earth
deeper still laughing like you're tame in this inflamed evening

1999, November 5th 6:30pm and 27 seconds
B-type, I, a perfectionist from A-type, you, an insomniac
you teach only a little of the lie
I, claustrophobic, am so happy that
I gave you a present of a chastity belt (it suits you very well)
I with flawless principles, in this inflamed evening
while my arteries pulse
into your veins inject the halcyon
take out all the blood that there is
in this simple room
only one I decorated it by hanging
while looking at that my feelings run wild, at my moistness you're staring in shock
while showing 3 minutes of paradise a good feeling
hysteria TYPE-A

scarlet sweet a memory sketched as a spiral returns to the earth
deeper still laughing like you're tame in this inflamed evening

if time passes anyhow
this child will be born and will become you
deeper still show me your best, as this child is tamed

scarlet sweet
gouged freak

got for gimmick... devise

General CommentHahaha I thought he said "KUNG-FU GIMMICK" xD Whatever...

This song is seriously too awesome for words. You just have to hear it to get it. It's so awesome. A W E S O M E . And very good lyricss too, indeed.

General CommentI read somewhere that this is about a woman who desperately wants a child so she takes a man home for a night of wild sex. And some of the song is a narration while they're at it and she's trying to get him to work harder so there is more of a chance she'll get pregnant. Like, "deeper still show me your best". It's a dirty song about a crazy woman. ^^

General CommentWell, I heard that the man is supposed to have died in the process, hence the line "this child will be born and become you." I just don't get the line about the "person inside a wall"... does it mean the embryo/fetus? Regardless, strange song (can't believe this was actually a single release!) and I loved the abstract English chants.

General Commentah third song on macabre. to me it sounds like maybe the woman or whoever is taking blood from the guy or some kind of sample of him. i dont think im right, but when i read the lyrics and listen to the song i imagine maybe some crazy woman killing some guy and perhaps taking samples of him and like putting them into herself to make a child. i dunno sounds gruesome, but it -is- dir en grey lol.

well look at the video at youtube.com, she's not taking the blood... she's taking organs and putting them into her fridge

General CommentI'll go ahead and add my take on it. My guess is the Theme of the song is 'Praying Mantis Syndrome.' It's when after the female mantis is done mating with the male mantis, the female kills the male. PMS(no, not THAT PMS, the syndrom listed above) is pretty much that, but in this sense, applies to women. I believe that the woman in this song suffers from this syndrome. After the woman has sex with the man in this song(unlucky bastard)she kills him, making the line "That person is inside a wall..." make a lot more sense when you think about it. And for those who didn't know what Preying Mantis Syndrome was, enjoy your psychology lesson for the day.

General CommentThat makes a lot of sense. I never really thought about it that way, but the more I think about it, the more it clicks. Thanks, now I can just be confused about other songs. XD
