Dirty pop
(Yo, BT)

Sick and tired of hearin' all these people talk about
"What's the deal with this pop life
And when is it gonna fade out?"
The thing you got to realize, what we're doin' is not a trend
We got the gift of melody
We're gonna bring it 'til the end, come on, now

It doesn't matter
'Bout the car I drive, what I wear around my neck
All that matters
Is that you recognize that it's just about respect
It doesn't matter
'Bout the clothes I wear, and where I go, and why
All that matters
Is that you get hyped and we'll do it to you every time
Come on, now

Do you ever wonder why
This music gets you high?
It takes you on a ride
Feel it when your body starts to rock
(When your body starts to rock)
Baby, you can't stop (you can't stop)
And the music's all you got (come on, now)
(This must be)
Pop

Dirty pop
B-baby, baby, you can't stop
I know you like this dirty pop
(This must be)

Now, why you wanna try to classify
The type of thing that we do?
'Cause we're just fine doin' what we like
Can we say the same for you?
Tired of feelin' all around me animosity
Just worry about yours 'cause I'ma get mine
Now, people, can't you see?

It doesn't matter
'Bout the car I drive or the ice around my neck
All that matters
Is that you recognize that it's just about respect, oh
It doesn't matter
'Bout the clothes I wear, and where I go, and why
All that matters
Is that you get hyped and we'll do it to you every time
Come on

Do you ever wonder why (why)
This music gets you high? (Gets you high)
It takes you on a ride
Feel it when your (feel it when your) body starts to rock
(When your body starts to rock)
Baby, you can't stop (you can't stop)
And the music's all you got (baby, c'mon)
(This must be)

Ooh
Man, I'm tired of singin'

Dirty, dirty, dirty pop
Dirty pop
Do you ever wonder, wonder, wonder, won-?
(BT)

(Oh) do you ever wonder why?
(Ever wonder why?)
This music gets you high? (Gets you high)
It takes you on a ride
Feel it when your (feel it when your) body starts to rock
(When your body starts to rock)
Baby, you can't stop (baby, don't stop)
And the music's all you got (C'mon, now)
(This must be)
Do you ever wonder why (do you ever wonder)
This music gets you high? (How it gets you so high, baby?)
It takes you on a ride
Feel it when your (feel it when your) body starts to rock
(When your body starts to rock)
Baby, you can't stop
And the music's all you got

This must be (oh, oh, oh)
Do you ever wonder why (ever wonder why?)
This music gets you high? (Music gets you high)
It takes you on a ride
Feel it when your (when your) body starts to rock
(When your body starts to rock)
Baby, you can't stop (you can't stop)
And the music's all you got (baby, c'mon)
(This must be)

it's cute how people will come on here and insult music they don't listen to. if you don't like it you don't like it, that doesn't make you better than the people that do.

I'm gonna make one last comment about NSYNC. Bands change. When these guys first started out, they were singing about love, and well, now they sing about love, but if you read the lyrics, the songs have matured a lot, from that boppy poppy stuff six or seven years ago, to a more R&B groove kind of thing. Not every pop band is NKOTB-esque, and if it turns out that way, then so be it. But bands change, their music changes, and their attitudes change as well. Remember that next time you comment. Oh, and tooty frooty, they do NOT lip synch. All bands lip synch in videos, because that's how they make em. But nsync does NOT lip synch.

great song! it describes me! there are always people(like the ones above) that have to say bad things about the pop music (for example that it sell only cos' the popstarss' look) and a lot of people afaraid to admit that they like pop music cos' of this(i know a lot of this sad people). actually i think that *nSync try to say by this that they are not just another boy band!

Seeing how ALL the punks have the whole black, eye liner thing. How is being into pop conforming. Punks and Goths are all about cutting and writing songs where the sream things like "I hate you!" and you can never tell what the freaks are mumbling in their songs. Whatever!!! Nsync is classic. I love them and ya know what I also love Fall Out Boy and Beyonce. Labeling and "punking" songs is soooo retarded. pop is awesome and fun. So what? Not every song has to be as deep as Blue October's Hate Me (btw love that song).

This is so frickin' retarded... dirty pop? Wtf? I nearly died on the spot when I heard this song because I was laughing so hard... And of course it's a damn trend... one popular, stupid 12 year old friend of mine likes it, then everyone else follows, and then it's all over the radios... it's a conspiracy, I tell you...

Don't you people get tired of all of the "Ooh baby"s and "Baby girl"s? It seems like it's the same song, just remixed. By the way, I'm not sad.

Light Up The Sky
Van Halen
The song lyrics were written by the band Van Halen, as they were asked to write a song for the 1979 movie "Over the Edge" starring Matt Dillon. The movie (and the lyrics, although more obliquely) are about bored, rebellious youth with nothing better to do than get into trouble. If you see the movie, these lyrics will make more sense. It's a great movie if you grew up in the 70s/80s you'll definitely remember some of these characters from your own life. Fun fact, after writing the song, Van Halen decided not to let the movie use it.

Son Şansın - Şarkı Sözleri
Hayalperest
This song seemingly tackles the methods of deception those who manipulate others use to get victims to follow their demands, as well as diverting attention away from important issues. They'll also use it as a means to convince people to hate or kill others by pretending acts of terrorism were committed by the enemy when the acts themselves were done by the masters of control to promote discrimination and hate. It also reinforces the idea that these manipulative forces operate in various locations, infiltrating everyday life without detection, and propagate any and everywhere. In general, it highlights the danger of hidden agendas, manipulation, and distraction, serving as a critique of those who exploit chaos and confusion to control and gain power, depicting a cautionary tale against falling into their traps. It encourages us to question the narratives presented to us and remain vigilant against manipulation in various parts of society.

Silent Planet
I think much like another song “Anti-Matter” (that's also on the same album as this song), this one is also is inspired by a horrifying van crash the band experienced on Nov 3, 2022. This, much like the other track, sounds like it's an extension what they shared while huddled in the wreckage, as they helped frontman Garrett Russell stem the bleeding from his head wound while he was under the temporary effects of a concussion. The track speaks of where the mind goes at the most desperate & desolate of times, when it just about slips away to all but disconnect itself, and the aftermath.

American Town
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran shares a short story of reconnecting with an old flame on “American Town.” The track is about a holiday Ed Sheeran spends with his countrywoman who resides in America. The two are back together after a long period apart, and get around to enjoying a bunch of fun activities while rekindling the flames of their romance.

Plastic Bag
Ed Sheeran
“Plastic Bag” is a song about searching for an escape from personal problems and hoping to find it in the lively atmosphere of a Saturday night party. Ed Sheeran tells the story of his friend and the myriad of troubles he is going through. Unable to find any solutions, this friend seeks a last resort in a party and the vanity that comes with it. “I overthink and have trouble sleepin’ / All purpose gone and don’t have a reason / And there’s no doctor to stop this bleedin’ / So I left home and jumped in the deep end,” Ed Sheeran sings in verse one. He continues by adding that this person is feeling the weight of having disappointed his father and doesn’t have any friends to rely on in this difficult moment. In the second verse, Ed sings about the role of grief in his friend’s plight and his dwindling faith in prayer. “Saturday night is givin’ me a reason to rely on the strobe lights / The lifeline of a promise in a shot glass, and I’ll take that / If you’re givin’ out love from a plastic bag,” Ed sings on the chorus, as his friend turns to new vices in hopes of feeling better.
