"Brilliant Fake" as written by and Louis Robert Eliot....
Na na na na
Na na na na na na
Na na na na
Na na na na na na

I like the taste
That's why I swallow the lies
'Cause everybody needs faith
If they want to survive
Give me your hand
Oh, I will fall to my knees
In such a beautiful sham
I was born to believe

I don't care
Whatever
Just kill the pain and stop the ache
Whatever it takes
Lie to me
I'm happy
And in your arms I will escape
You're my brilliant fake

Na na na na
Na na na na na na
Na na na na
Na na na na na na

All of my life
I've never known what was real
But does it matter what is right
If you like what you feel?

I don't care
Whatever
Just kill the pain and stop the ache
Whatever it takes
Lie to me
I'm happy
And in your arms I will escape
Oh, my brilliant fake

Na na na na
Na na na na na na
Na na na na
Na na na na na na

General CommentI think this song sums up the tele-evangelist religions who claim that they can perform miraculous healings.

I love the lines "Just kill the pain and stop the ache, whatever it takes, lie to me, I'm happy" and "But does it matter what is right, if you like what you feel?"
