"Broken Road" as written by Marcus Hummon, Robert E. Boyd and Jeff Hanna....
I set out on a narrow way many years ago
hoping i would find true love along the broken road.
But i got lost a time or two, wiped my brow kept pushing through
I couldn't see how every sign pointed straight to you.

Others have broke my heart they were just northern stars pointing me on my way this much i know is true.

God bless the broken road that led me straight to you.
I think about the time i lost just passing through.
I'd like to take the time i lost and give it back to you.
But you just smile and take my hand you've been there you understand that it's all part of a grander plan .... that is coming true

General CommentI love this song so much. It's very powerful and it reminds me of my boyfriend. Every guy I've been with has never worked out and I feel as if that was so I could be pointed in his direction "Others who broke my heart they were just northern stars" even though in the beginning I couldn't see it "I couldn't see how every sign pointed straight to you." Also this is one of his fave songs. It's our song I guess you could say, because we both love it and it reminds us of each other and also because he understands me and what I've been through "You've been there, you understand, It's all part of a grander plan that is coming true." I love it. I just love the message it sends. It's beautiful and the lyrics are very well put together.
