"Whore" as written by and Mimi J. Parker George Alan Sparhawk....
you will get your reward
you will get your reward

what is the whore you're living for?
is it so wrong to think there's more?
there's always one worth waiting for
what is the whore you're living for?

you fill the house with bells
but who can live like that?
you wanna speak like angels
but you can't

General CommentWhen I hear this I think of Jesus saying the Pharisee's have gotten their reward already. Or a theme that the wicked will get their reward in the end. The whore possibly is Babylon, the people were living for the whore with immoral lifestyles. They wanted to be like gods -> "You wanna speak like angels"
