can you deal with the hallucination?
can you steal the hallucination?
i can hear and feel all that you're thinking
can you deal with the hallucination?
when i'm drowning in the sea, i am
when you're looking down at me, i am
when i'm walking in the streets, i am a bullet
when i'm looking and i find, i am
when i'm purer than the sky, i am
when i'm fucking with your mind, i am a bullet

in the eye, in the mirror, i am a black bullet
in the eye, in the mirror, i am
alone, alone in this all.

deal with the hallucination
can you deal with the hallucination

when i'm walking on the line, i am
when i think that i could kill, i am
when i think that i am love, i am
i am a black bullet

in the eye, in the mirror, i am
in the eye, in the mirror, i am
in the eye, in the mirror, i am a black bullet
in the eye, in the mirror, i am

alone, alone in this all.

can you deal with the hallucination
could you look me
in the eye,
in the mirror, when
in the eye, in the mirror, i am
in the eye, in the mirror, i am a black bullet
in the eye, in the mirror, i am
alone, alone in this all.

General CommentTo me it seems to be about recognizing yourself as a force to be dealt with, and realizing that you have to depend on yourself.

The "hallucination" part...I guess it's how she thinks she's a hazard to both herself and others?

General CommentWhy do you people bother posting if you're not going to say what you think the song is about?

Anyways, "Black Bullet" is a metaphor for her eyes, specifically her pupils. What she means is that she is staring someone down so hard that her pupils are like black bullets.

General CommentI listen to this song whenever I'm feeling depressed/ angry, and it makes me feel empowered and just feels like a "Fuck You" to the world. I think its about when you're angry about something, and you feel like the next thing someone says to you could set you off. Adrenaline, when you're "walking through the streets" and you're all pumped up ready for a fight, it just feels like everythings spiralling out of control and going a mile a minute, like a bullet. It feels very spiteful, and in others self loathing, maybe about a hate for others that makes you hate yourself? The dreamier bits like the hallucination part and the eye in the mirror could be a reflection of herself and the feelings after and before the adrenaline rush. The kind of "wave affect" of depression, slow, dreamy, like you're watching a movie of your life at the moment instead of actually living it, and then the adrenaline rush, spastic and out of control, and then slipping back into the numbness...it's a vicious cycle...

    General Comment1) Awesome song.
    2) I think she's referring to how dangerous she is, regardless her intentions, the situation, etc.

"when i'm walking on the line, i am, when i think that i could kill, i am, when i think that i am love, i am, i am a black bullet"

I feel like she's saying that even when she's trying to conform/be normal/straighten herself out ("walking on the line"), or when she's furious ("think that I can kill"), or when she thinks she's in love and tries to "behave", so to speak, she ends up ruining everything, or possibly even hurting someone.

As for what she's referring to by "hallucination"... perhaps she means that she puts on a front for everyone, pretending to be "tame" until her true nature rears its head.

Or, to take it further, maybe she's implying that the dangerous side of her she's referring to throughout the song is the "hallucination", and what's she's really hinting at is how vulnerable she really is, and that her destructive tendencies stem from a need to protect herself.

"Can you deal with the hallucination/can you steal the hallucination" -- either way, she's daring [us/them] to see beneath her facade, though what that facade is I'm not entirely sure. In my opinion, though, it's either of the two I mentioned above.
